## What is Sky Compass?

Sky Compass brings the outdoor readings you need into one clear place on iPhone and iPad. Check your heading, altitude, air pressure, coordinates and level while walking, hiking or exploring a new area.

OUTDOOR INSTRUMENTS AT A GLANCE
Move between the compass, altitude, pressure and level views. Readings reflect the sensors and location information available on your device, with clear indications when data is unavailable or needs attention.

SAVE PLACES AND REVIEW TRIPS
Save a waypoint when you want to remember a location. Start a trip when you choose to record your route, then pause or finish it from the Trips screen. Review distance and elevation changes afterward, and export a trip as GPX or CSV through the iOS share sheet.

MAKE IT YOURS
Choose a light or dark appearance and adjust your instrument preferences. Supported widgets and Live Activities can show recent readings outside the app.

LOCAL BY DESIGN
Sky Compass works without an account, ads or developer-operated cloud storage. Trips and waypoints are kept on your device. An export you choose to share, or a system backup you enable, may create a copy elsewhere.

Readings depend on device hardware, permissions, location accuracy and surroundings. Pressure readings require a compatible sensor and are not a weather forecast. Waypoint bearings show a straight-line direction, not turn-by-turn navigation. Background location is used to record a trip you start until you pause or finish it, or iOS stops the service.
