## What is SKY INK?

Sky İnk turns a journey into a short film.

Pick your stops — an airport, a town, a harbour or any point on the earth — and how you got from one to the next: flying, driving, riding, by train, by sea or on foot. The film makes itself: the route drawn across the earth, your vehicle travelling it, each stop named as it arrives, and a last frame that pulls back to the whole journey. Up to eight stops, and a route may come back to where it began.

EVERY WAY OF TRAVELLING
Flights follow the great circle; land legs are drawn across the country through the towns on the way; sea legs follow the shipping lanes. Sixteen 3D vehicles — airliners, propeller planes and jets, cars, sports cars, campers and buses, bicycles and motorbikes, trains, ferries, cruise ships and sailboats, and three walkers — and every leg can ride its own.

MADE ON YOUR PHONE
Every frame is rendered on the device and saved straight to Photos: no upload, no queue, 1080p in about the time the film lasts.

A LOOK OF YOUR OWN
Five earths: Satellite, Terrain, Blueprint, Day and Night, with borders and the names of places and waters. Then each leg as you like it — its vehicle, its size and colour, the colour, width and glow of its line, its camera and its pace — and each stop with its own marker, label and pause. Legs of the same kind in a row can be set at once, and the stops between them passed through.

THREE SHAPES
9:16 for vertical feeds, 1:1 for square posts, 16:9 for wide screens.

NO ACCOUNT TO WATCH
Build a route, play the film and restyle it without signing in. An account — your Apple ID or your Google account, no password anywhere — is asked for only when something has to be kept: exporting a film or starring a place. It carries your places to the studio on the web, and Account → Delete account removes all of it.

WHAT IT IS MADE OF
NASA's imagery of the whole earth, our own drawn maps, public tables of the world's airports, towns and ports, and a camera that behaves like one: it lifts off with the plane, follows it, and comes down into the arrival.

## Version history (last 1 release)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-16

Old ways to travel.

• Eight vehicles from the great journeys: a hippie van, a steam train, a vintage plane, a caravel, a raft, and a horse, a camel and an elephant with their riders.
• Changing a leg's vehicle or how it travels keeps the film where it was, instead of jumping back to the first stop.
• After Done, Play starts the film from the beginning.
• Many smaller fixes.
