## What is Sky Location?

SkyLocation puts the entire sky in your pocket. Using precise astronomical algorithms based on Jean Meeus "Astronomical Algorithms" and the NOAA Solar Calculator, it tells you exactly where to look for the Sun, Moon, and five naked-eye planets — right now, from where you are.

Point your phone at the sky and the live compass overlay shows you the real-time azimuth of the Sun and Moon. No network connection needed: all calculations run on-device, accurate to within half a degree for any date within 200 years of today.
