When I opened today I got a pop up saying that the app developers need to update its capacity for iPhone. Used to be smooth, now is jumpy. Could figure out how to message you guys, so wrote the review. About a year ago though all this got reversed, with the whole night sky 'flipped over'. I cannot find a setting where I can either correct this or chose the view that works for me, so I am rather frustrated at what is otherwise an excellent app. ### 3/5 — Location Uses? *2016-10-30, version 1.3* Good app, but why do you need to use our location even when not using the app?! Seems shady to me. I'd rather not have this app use my location when I'm not using it, thanks. This is necessary to plan your star gazing events. Used it very often to identify planets and their positions. Very interesting! Opened it several times in the last few months, deleted and reinstalled it twice, and cannot even use it anymore because it jumps around as I move it across the sky, and is no where close to accurate! I point it right at the moon, and there's no moon on the map. Try to adjust it and it jumps all over and jerks back to same location, that I'm not even viewing! I'm so very disappointed, as I really loved the app. I'm deleting it now, but will check back later to see if the bugs have been fixed! Was able to set date and time for future or past. Had a horizon line which gave reference to what you were viewing. Also had red screen for night viewing. All of that is either gone or obscure within the icons which have no explanation. I figured I'd try pointing it at the moon and the moon isn't even on the screen. It's down to the right below the horizon in the app even though I'm looking directly at it. I'm surprised with how accurate the app is, I really like the various features such as the search tool which I tested on the moon and accurately pointed to the moon!
