Sky Now has a free ephemeris & astro chart wheel that updates to the second. There is one $0.99 in-app purchase to permanently store charts created. Charts can be added for a Transit Wheel of now. Update can be paused, and there's a stepper to move in time. Double Tap Zooms. Once 2 birth entries are created, there are synastry and composite options on a new tab. App can show the mundane and personal transit times for any day. Works Offline. No Login. No Ads. Multitude of settings. When a chart is added to now, both the transit and natal wheel can be viewed. Can easily switch between charts. The data area below will also reflect the current state. If viewing tropical Natal Charts, there's a button above planet data for astrology interpretations of planets through Neptune from a classic book, with ghost writer Crowley. There's an option for transit times which shows the exact time of transits for each day or when planets change signs or houses and users can move through days. When two birth entries have been created, there's a tab for synastry and composite, including composite transits. Settings has choices for things to show, orbs and house system. Choice of Wide, Medium or Narrow orbs. Three different orb settings depending on type of chart. Can switch between sidereal and tropical. Can show minor aspects and minor transit times. Printed data shows below wheels which can be seen as text or astro symbols. Dark Mode support. One of 48,000 cities can be chosen to calculate the houses, or constellation rising on the horizon, of the sky now. For birth entries, latitude and longitude can also be manually adjusted after a city is chosen. When updating is paused, users can step through time forward and backward. Lengths are 1 minute, 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 month, 6 months and 1 year. When paused on a transit chart, there is also a date picker to move to any date. A data area below wheels has printed data in sections. Data can print as text or astro fonts. Depending what is on in settings, all aspects can be shown between all bodies and both major and minor aspects which would be split in two sections. A key button is available on any screen astrological fonts are chosen over text. Things to show to set on and off include the planets through Pluto and Chiron, Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta, Pholus, Eris, and the North & South Node, Lot of Fortune, Lot of Spirit, and Lilith(Black Moon) as well as the MC, Vertex and ASC. The ephemeris shows a month’s data at a time and forward, backward buttons can quickly move between months. Users can also select any date and get the ephemeris data for that month. It can be toggled between displaying data as text or with astro fonts. There is a toggle to move between Classical and Modern. If modern is on, all "things to show" show in ephemeris. If classical is on, it shows the planets through Saturn and the True Node. There are seven house systems including Placidus, Whole and Equal. Shows tropical by default, when off Sidereal systems available are Lahiri, Fagan-Bradley, and Raman. Shows all major aspects by default but any can be disabled to declutter the wheel. A mundane option shows the time of day the planets form exact aspects or change signs. If a chart has been added to now the mundane option changes to transit times and includes both mundane and personal. The display can be toggled between text and symbols. Forward and backward buttons can move between days. Minors can be enabled or disabled, with choices of Semisextile, Semisquare, Quintile, Sesquisquare, Biquintile and Quincunx. They show in data area or mundane times, not in center of wheel. (for example: i can track what time Moon Sextiles Chiron or enters Pisces) The other features I like is choosing what orb strength you want to use.
