I believed in this app BEFORE it was a monthly subscription and actually purchased specific videos. However, despite having already purchased those, I guess I’m not able to access them anymore since I don’t have a subscription… that just feels wrong. It feels like robbery. Videos are so professionally shot, slowly skimming above the earth. Have people over and not sure how to set a comfortable ambience/mood? Sure your mixtape is fire, but what about the guests in the background? My wife and I flip Sky Tripping on and without fail, our guests ask us where we got the beautiful screen savers and stunning footage. Our daughter has “quiet time” in the afternoons and on Sundays and we’ll flip Sky Tripping on for the white noise of the waves and the serene setting of the California redwoods. Developers are easy to contact and have answered my questions quickly and understandingly. While doing so, he cried hysterically and nothing I said would calm him down. Even after everything was done he continued. Then I remembered, that I had downloaded the Sky Tripping app. I opened it and let him choose the scenery. I instructed him to match his breathing with the bubble in the corner and within seconds he calmed down. By the time the minute was over, he was completely calm and stayed that way. Great app! Love the footage of all the beautiful scenery and the breathing bubble really helps to calm down and relax. Or so it said. My Apple subscriptions are billing me $5.99 a month for this. Not cool. I don’t know how to explain I’m more detail what the description stated. There were three of us sitting there. There were multiple screens with different prices. When I opted out I was offered this deal. I have followed every single instruction, but the app just keeps taking me in circles. If I open the app on my mobile device i.e. iPhone or iPad, it works perfectly. If I try to open it on Apple TV, forget it. It simply won’t allow me to watch the meditations. I’ve tried deleting the app then restoring it onto Apple TV. That doesn’t work. When the only reason I paid for the annual subscription, is for the meditation on Apple TV, I am left feeling extremely frustrated. ### 1/5 — Visually stunning, but... *2018-03-10, version 1.5.1* I love apps like these that offer beautiful landscapes as a calming distraction, but I would never use it enough to warrant a monthly subscription. Nice visuals, doubt if they are 4K. The ones I really wanted were not available and didn’t seem like they would be anytime soon. I forgot to cancel during my free trial (my bad) so I went to go cancel just now but it won’t let me. After reading the description I find that they DON’T allow you to cancel during an active subscription period, only on the day before that period ends. So basically you have one day a month to get in to cancel and that’s a pretty disgusting practice if you ask me. I’ll never recommend this app because of it and I’ll never try any app from this developer and I’ll be sure to tell everyone to steer clear of them.
