Skyclock is the definitive Sun calculator for sunrise, sunset, and twilight times.

Pilots, photographers, hunters, construction managers, those who fish, camp, hike, and play and organize outdoor recreation use Skyclock

Twilight awareness is a gift of time. Skyclock shows you ‘usable twilight’, which extends your day. Twilight is the time between day and night when there is available light before sunrise, or after sunset. All of these times change every day, and depend on where you are.

Using an analog clock face (12 or 24 hour mode), and Skyclock’s patented ‘slice of pie’ display method, you can quickly see and understand all of these times, and optimize your outdoor activities to take advantage of natural lighting conditions.

With Skyclock you can plan on getting that evening round of golf in before dark. You can plan on finishing that landscaping job.

You can plan to be at the beach in time to watch a beautiful sunset, and then enjoy the colors that are best during twilight. You can plan your fishing time for when they’re biting, and your hiking time to get back to camp in time for the twilight s'mores. And you can do much, much more.

It’s convenience, planning, and safety. It’s making the most of your outdoor time, whether it’s for recreation, or occupation. Enjoy your day. Enjoy your night. Most of all, enjoy the twilight times in between like you never have before. Twilight awareness with Skyclock will extend your day.

### 3/5 — No widget

*2022-03-16, version 2.2.4*

I like the idea and can’t understand why this is not incorporated in standard clock apps. I bought it expecting at least a widget but there is none. The whole idea of being able to see daylight hours at a glance is weakened if I have to open the app to see it.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2022-01-21, version 2.2.4*

Use this all the time to plan my outdoor activity.

### 5/5 — Knowledge is power

*2019-11-13, version 2.2.4*

Know when darkness (not just sunset) is coming and time your activities precisely.

### 5/5 — This is a solidly useful app

*2019-10-10, version 2.2.4*

If daylight is important to your activities you will find Skyclock invaluable.

### 5/5 — There is peace in this app

*2019-07-08, version 2.2.4*

You will have a greater understanding of the movements of the Earth and Sun with respect to each other.

### 5/5 — Beautiful app

*2019-01-26, version 2.2.4*

This beautiful app clearly shows when all three legal twilights begin and end. Along with sunrise, sunset and zenith it gives me everything I want. You can view the clock either in 12 or 24 hour format.

### 5/5 — Great idea, quality touches

*2018-07-28, version 2.2.4*

It turned out to be easy to "get the feel" of twilight with this app. Using it along with your own local observation helps build a good idea of how much more usable daylight you have at the end of the day, or how soon the night sky will start helping you see in the morning (hopefully not both in the same 24 hours!). The quality is reflected in the display. If you appreciate a digitally driven analog clock display that has ABSOLUTELY SMOOTH visual motion, you'll love it just for that. Thanks for a fine app!

### 5/5 — Great for travelers!

*2017-11-03, version 2.2.4*

Using it to plan my exercise when I'm in different cities. Don't like jogging in unfamiliar places after dark.

### 5/5 — 👍👍👍

*2017-09-28, version 2.2.4*

Had this app for a while now and use it consistently. A simple, easy to understand way to get sunrise and sunset times based on your location. Especially helpful for any sort of outdoor filming or picture taking.

### 5/5 — Awesome idea... well done.

*2017-09-20, version 2.2.4*

Skyclock is a great example of simplicity yielding great results. It’s a unique and great idea that’s well executed.
