### 5/5 — Must have for travelers

*2017-09-16, version 2.2.4*

I have a select few apps I use on every trip. Skyclock is one of them. It's important for me to know when it's getting dark. The display is perfect.

### 5/5 — Great app - world traveler

*2017-08-05, version 2.2.2*

I plan my workouts to finish at sunset using Skyclock. Love it.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2017-07-25, version 2.2.2*

I find Skyclock immensely useful! My only complaint would be that the app is in need of an update for iOS 10. Still a five-star rating though.

### 5/5 — Can't go wrong

*2014-07-06, version 2.2.2*

Sleek interface, seamless function. Does exactly what I need it to do. If you know what's good for you, you'll get this app.

Perfect app for dealing with the dwindling daylight of winter. Would be nice if you could view clock for locations other than your current location.

### 5/5 — Crucial tool for the construction industry

*2013-11-09, version 2.2.2*

As the manager of a construction company, I have found that Skyclock is finally putting an end to the endless foreman versus superintendent versus manager discussion of how early, or how late, our crews can work.

For obvious safety reasons, insurance companies are very specific about night work. They don’t insure us to work at night. Foreman and superintendents have a tendency to start earlier and earlier in the morning, during the summer.(Sometimes without informing management.)

So who decides when it is light enough to work?

With the Skyclock app, the “RED LINE”, representing sunrise or sunset, has now become our “Company Policy” for the limits of starting and stopping of work. It is now an integral part of our “Safety Program. It’s quick, easy to understand, and indisputable. It is simply too dark to work safely outside these limits.

Indispensible tool for the heavy highway construction industry!

### 5/5 — Boating enthusiast

*2013-11-08, version 2.2.2*

Awesome app -- especially if dependent on the changing times of twilight. Particularly like the option to display nautical and astronomical twilight.

### 5/5 — Deer season DNR regs

*2013-10-20, version 2.2.1*

DNR compliance. Never have to worry about it. Great. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Wonderful App

### 5/5 — Genius!!!

### 5/5 — Ver 2.2 Super update!!!

*2013-06-22, version 2.2*

Have been familiar with Skyclock and the company for many years, I've had the app since it first came out on iOS.

Highly recommended for those who need to be aware of twilight, & anyone who is just interested in timekeeping. The new version for retina displays looks terrific on the iPhone 5. Looking forward to updating my iPad!

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2012-01-24, version 2.0*

Mr. Mac, this app is great. I used it for fishing and it told me when the sunrise was coming and I caught 12 fish

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Initially worked great but after phone reset it crashes

*2012-03-14, version 2.0*

Initially did what I wanted. I had to erase all content and reinstall apps. After doing that it opens the closed immediately without being able to view clock

### 3/5 — No widget

*2022-03-16, version 2.2.4*

I like the idea and can’t understand why this is not incorporated in standard clock apps. I bought it expecting at least a widget but there is none. The whole idea of being able to see daylight hours at a glance is weakened if I have to open the app to see it.

### 4/5 — Ads

*2012-01-01, version 2.0*

Great and effective but the ads look like you're using Internet explorer in 1998 - hideous, animated, fake message type garbage. Worth the $ to upgrade if you use regularly.

### 4/5 — Practical and useful!

*2011-10-19, version 2.0*

I appreciate the accuracy of this app and use it frequently when planning outings.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2022-01-21, version 2.2.4*

Use this all the time to plan my outdoor activity.

### 5/5 — Knowledge is power

*2019-11-13, version 2.2.4*

Know when darkness (not just sunset) is coming and time your activities precisely.

### 5/5 — This is a solidly useful app

*2019-10-10, version 2.2.4*

If daylight is important to your activities you will find Skyclock invaluable.

### 5/5 — There is peace in this app

*2019-07-08, version 2.2.4*

You will have a greater understanding of the movements of the Earth and Sun with respect to each other.

### 5/5 — Beautiful app

*2019-01-26, version 2.2.4*

This beautiful app clearly shows when all three legal twilights begin and end. Along with sunrise, sunset and zenith it gives me everything I want. You can view the clock either in 12 or 24 hour format.

### 5/5 — Great idea, quality touches

*2018-07-28, version 2.2.4*

It turned out to be easy to "get the feel" of twilight with this app. Using it along with your own local observation helps build a good idea of how much more usable daylight you have at the end of the day, or how soon the night sky will start helping you see in the morning (hopefully not both in the same 24 hours!). The quality is reflected in the display. If you appreciate a digitally driven analog clock display that has ABSOLUTELY SMOOTH visual motion, you'll love it just for that. Thanks for a fine app!

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great for travelers!

*2017-11-03, version 2.2.4*

Using it to plan my exercise when I'm in different cities. Don't like jogging in unfamiliar places after dark.

### 5/5 — 👍👍👍

*2017-09-28, version 2.2.4*

Had this app for a while now and use it consistently. A simple, easy to understand way to get sunrise and sunset times based on your location. Especially helpful for any sort of outdoor filming or picture taking.

### 5/5 — Awesome idea... well done.

*2017-09-20, version 2.2.4*

Skyclock is a great example of simplicity yielding great results. It’s a unique and great idea that’s well executed.

### 5/5 — Very helpful app!

*2017-09-20, version 2.2.4*

I love this app! As someone who works indoors all day, it's very useful in planning my evening and ensuring I use my remaining hours of sunlight wisely!
