The app makes planning skydives of all sizes easy and efficient, and the ability to share the formations and slotting with participants as soon as you're ready or changes are made is an invaluable asset. ### 5/5 — A MustHave for Skydive organizing *2025-01-21* Thank Rob, we have the Skydive Designer these days. It makes it so easy to design any skydives from 4/8/16 to 200 ways. It inspires you for new ideas and makes it easy to show the participants what the skydive is about. You can easily try different ways for a skydive and this helps to get the right solution. The skydive designer has too many features to name them all here. It can both empower the organizer to design, engineer, and slot a skydive quickly, and quickly and easily articulate that vision to hundreds of people in seconds. It’s an essential tool for any serious load organizers. Rather than keeping a library of different sized jumps in your head, build an actual portfolio of well designed jumps for every situation with this tool. Again rather than trying to explain how your crazy skydives work, just show them an animation provided by this tool. Running out of ideas for skydives?? Go online and search the public repository of skydives designed by others for inspiration and submit your own. All the features work smoothly, even if a few of them are a bit too advanced for a simple man like myself. Having the app work seamlessly on all apple devices is a huge plus as well. Do yourself a favor and get this app. Thanks, Joey Marshall Arizona Airspeed ### 5/5 — Great *2023-09-05* Only bring us in our folders and nothing’s happening **Developer response:** Hi Maxstil - admittedly this is a bit weird if you're not used to it, but this is how iOS document based apps work. I'm afraid you have to blame Apple for that - they don't let developers customise the experience much. Just click on the 'Create document' button and that will create your first jump 'document'. You can also click on the 'Help' button at the top right of the files view to open up the tutorials which show you this in action. ### 5/5 — Old dog and new tricks *2023-08-14* Rob sent me an early version of his Skydive Designer app and I was happy to provide some feedback. Gratified that he would ask my opinion, I paid my subscription fee, watched some instructional videos and began to use the app in an elementary fashion. Before long, colleagues began designing, editing and publishing dives without the ‘trial and error’ heartache that characterized my feeble efforts. Embarrassed by the lack of my technological skills, I caught-up on the new training options and actually learned some of the new options available. What a helpful tool! The only reason I own an ipad is so that I can use Skydive Designer. The Skydive Designer app is the only tool that you'll need to develop and engineer formation skydives - belly, freefly, head up, head down, wingsuit, and CRW. The graphics and animaition greatly reduce the time it takes to prep a dive. Let the app do your talking. Replace "Joe, take a grip on Sally's right leg with your left hand....turn 90°..present your right hand to Billy" with "here's what the formation looks like, find yourself, take grips". Additional features include setting a roster (which you can copy/paste from a file on your device), creating a manifest list for each airplane (that can be printed or sent electronically to manifest!), publish your skydive on the cloud so that you don't have to email it to everyone. The "symmetry" feature lets you create a bigway formation by slotting just a few skydivers rather than all of the skydivers in the formation. Download the app. Play with it. You'll be glad you did. Scott Latinis ### 5/5 — Awesome Tool *2022-11-07* This is an awesome tool that helps every load organizer with designing and planning jumps, and every normal jumper to see the movements in formations. The illustration of the movements of the jumpers is something that has never been seen before. The effect when you can show the jumpers in your group the necessary moves is priceless. There are many options that show how many thoughts have been put into the tool: labeling and coloring of the jumpers, different arm positions, single and multiple jumper selections, and much more.
