Just getting jibberish. The android version of this app allows you to do this as well. 3 stars for not being the same as android. I’ve deleted this app and then re-downloaded it several times and it never switches these to the way they should be currently. I just kind of wondered if the developers of this app are kind of lazy. ### 2/5 — No way to add scores! *2020-07-07* I paid for and downloaded the app on my iPhone. I added the courses that I played. Could not figure out how to add my scores. I called my buddy who loves this app. He told me there is a blue score button to hit. I didn’t have one. I emailed the company about it. I bought the app after seeing his but I really don’t like it because on the iPhone version it doesn’t give me an option to track my score ### 1/5 — Shouldn’t Make Assumptions *2019-07-29, version 1.10.1* I had the SkyDroid app on my android phone and really found it easy to use and full function. Besides distances to the green, it showed distances to hazards, I could measure my drive distances, including club selection, but most importantly (to me), I could use it to keep score with a history of my score on various courses. What a disappointment on my first golf outing with my iPhone with this app when I couldn’t find how to enter my score. I assumed it was the same app I had used on my Android phone. Wrong! I should have known from the name SkyDROID that it was originally written to run on the competition and another clue should have opened my eyes when it was less money which typically means less function. I give it 1 star for “distance to the hole”, but if you’ve used this app before on an android device you will be disappointed with this version. I found several free apps with much more functionality. I am currently using SwingU. ### 2/5 — Score ability *2019-06-25, version 1.10.1* I had the android version and recently got an iPhone. Why can’t I keep my score and putts on this phone? I don’t see scoring even offer. That’s it. No subscription, no useless condescending features, just two bucks, one time, gets you a useful app that doesn’t drain your phone’s battery. I already know how to play golf, i.e., choose clubs, read greens, and keep score, etc. Who wants to pay 50 bucks or more for the privilege of receiving more spam email, crowing to others (who could care less) about scores, reading greens on which the player is actually standing, telling the player which club to use, and calculating an unusable handicap? I originally paid £6.99 and I’m pleased at that, so the current price of under £2 is a bargain. It works well, gives instant front, middle, back distances, changing holes (assuming it doesn’t pick it up automatically, which it does pretty much everytime) is a doddle. The zoom function is useful although I rarely use it.
