However I’m noticing that during playback, there’s either a frame rate glitch or a recording glitch that after exporting the video from the app, you can tell where it starts off really fast and then slows down. It’s very noticeable if you have it set to take a photo every fifth of a second, and I haven’t had a chance to test slower capture rates. ### 4/5 — Export issue *2026-05-15* The app is really good but I’m facing issues while exporting. Ich habe mir gleich die Vollversion geholt. Doch leider hatte ich heute Morgen, bei dem Versuch zu exportieren eine Fehlermeldung: „Export Failed! ein unbekannter Fehler ist aufgetreten.“ Das ist wirklich sehr ärgerlich, weil ich jetzt meine tollen Sonnenaufgangs-Zeitraffer nicht verwenden kann. Ich bitte um Hilfe für dieses Problem. Ansonsten freue ich mich auf das weitere ausprobieren und hoffe, dass ich mich demnächst auf die Exporte verlassen kann. I simply don’t have the storage for 4K, and the 4K videos are tiny when compared to the perfect quality 1080’s I was able to capture up until this month, then they practically destroyed the app by only creating little square videos and small space-hogging 4K videos. After posting this I will look for another app in the App Store since SkyFlow is now rendered all but useless, and I promise I’ll come back and update this with a more positive review if this app is either fixed, or the original 1080 is restored. ### 5/5 — Was für ein Update … *2025-12-08* Nachdem vor 6 Jahren die letzten Updates erschienen, war ich eigentlich ganz froh drüber, dass ich jedes iOS-Update gemieden habe. Skyflow zählt einfach zu meinem Workflow, wenn ich Zeitraffer erstellen will - habe bisher nix Vergleichbares entdeckt und ehrlich gesagt: Das ist auch gar nicht nötig. Der Sprung auf Version 2 ist wirklich mal ein großer Sprung und verdient ein ausdrückliches Lob an den Entwickler. Gerade die Möglichkeiten zum Nachbearbeiten des Videos oder die neuen Gescheindigkeitseinsgellungen erleichtern die Arbeit enorm und erweitern die Spielräume für Zeitraffer. For some reason the developers completely changed this app after years of use where people seemed to have no problems. Now I am still getting various “capture session error” “cannot complete action” pop up error messages that STACK and completely prevent me from using the app. This used to be the GOAT… as other reviewers have said - just bring back the working version we had for years if you’re unable to make it work across all devices. I can confidently rely on this app when I leave my phone for several hours (building health habits) and come back to an incredible video. I can’t recommend this app enough! My one wish is to add more zoom levels. My view in the city can’t use 1x without showing other buildings but I’m losing too much of the sky with 5x.
