I signed him with my regular account and it’s still like just went back to the sign and page. It won’t let me make it in the app. ### 3/5 — It does not let me sign in. *2025-06-19* Every time I sign in it just doesn’t do anything. But when I sign up it says problem with creating your account. How do I fix this? ### 2/5 — Wifi not working and clips not loading *2025-04-24* So, I recently reinstalled this app just to use it again, and I'm glad that they've made more of the worlds available to non-premium users, but, I'm having a problem with the app saying I don't have a WiFi connection even though my WiFi works completely fine in other apps. This is also affecting the clips; I can record a clip, but can't watch it back because it doesn't load. When I clicked the "Subscribe" option at the bottom to see if it was a subscription thing, that was also stuck on loading. Can you guys please find a way to fix this? ### 3/5 — Would be great… *2025-03-05* I would love to use this app for its amazing features but, things took FOREVER to load and the quality was good I guess, but all the features you see on the video, I have no idea how to access. The rear cameras work fine and the app is neat when it works okay but there is a ton of development still needed for this to be worth a monthly subscription. They should let people use a free version for now while they learn from user data and make it a truly valuable product. But alas, I guess this is what can be expected when you get a bunch of tech bros together. ### 2/5 — Not worth it. Wait until next year. *2024-06-18* App has trouble functioning. Ai relighting is clearly in beta, not sure if it’s even ready for us to even try as a beta. Waited 40 minutes for a 7 second clip to be relit, and it was super dark, almost pitch black for half of it. Unusable. Most of the relit videos I’ve generated, the subjects just get cut off and disappear, despite being perfectly keyed in the preview, or jitter violently. Often times the video will cease to render halfway through, and the only option is to cancel it, re-export it, and hope it actually works this time. One of my videos stopped rendering while halfway done, unable to continue and now I can no longer even get the original version. The only Option is “cancel” which would then delete the video forever, leaving me with neither the relit version, the preview, or camera original. A lot of this wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t locked behind a $18 a month subscription. Just a waste of time and money in its current state. Just use the free version, download the in app video and camera original, use runway to rotoscope your subject, relight it yourself and then overlay that over the footage. Would be less of a headache. ### 3/5 — As does not match the product *2024-05-01* I was quite excited to try this but it doesn’t work anything close to the Ad. It doesn’t even recognize the face properly so it cuts off parts of your head and other objects in the background appear. The worst of all? The backgrounds don’t load at all and is very slow. Unusable am afraid. And I’m using the iPhone 15. **Developer response:** Hey! I'm glad you found us and were excited to try out the app! Sorry to hear your first experience wasn't what you expected from the ad. We promise you that it does work and the ad was all filmed with the app, no editing tricks (I know because I shot it myself) 1. For best results film your video against a green screen or blue screen. The AI background removal can cut off parts of your head or body. We're working to improve AI background removal. 2. You need a strong WiFi connection for the Unreal Engine backgrounds to load. Try moving closer to your wireless router and try connecting again. Depending on your geographic location, it takes about 60-90 seconds for backgrounds to load, so you do have to be patient. We're working on speed and reliability improvements right now so it doesn't take so long in the future. 3. The app should work great with an iPhone 15. The ad you saw was filmed with a 14 Pro. I can place myself or my kids in all sorts of awesome environments that would cost a fortune to actually fly them to (or would require a Time Machine). The built in environments are great, but the ability to create your own with AI really assists with my creativity. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Login Bug *2025-08-04* Every time I open the app and try to get it running, the sign in window pops up with the option to sign in with your Gmail or Apple login. I have chosen both, and even tried using the regular sign in process, and every time, it appears as if I’m logged in but never actually loads the app. It’s completely unusable. I have tried to contact support but the link is broken. Help! If 4K rendering is ever added as an immediate footage file instead of having to do it in post you could do quick and easy full on production with just your iPhone alone. ### 5/5 — Best *2024-07-20, version 2.1.1* This is the best green screen app ever ### 5/5 — the most underrated standalone video production app *2024-04-13* okay miss girll let me tell y’all about this app.. it's really impressive and it gives the right and essential tools to beginner editors like i am. virtual production of this quality used to be out of reach but now basically everyone can do it. i'm a sophomore at highschool and i'm still learning how to edit and film and this app just makes it so easy to use virtual sets, when practical ones are expensive and limited. the studio subscription of this app is lowkey expensive and a bit out of reach for my demographic but it's worth the price lol ✨ AND ALSO theres a really good AI that likeee removes the background so not even a green screen is needed. i think you’ll still want one if you want a really clean rotoscope but likeee its super good i don’t think you’ll ever need one EVER. and alsooo for those after effects editors like me, get the studio plan because you can export the matte output so you can control every visual thing in the video. for me i use Boris FX Optics and Maxon Red Giant Magic Bullet Looks for color correction and basically all the effects to make it look realistic. like those plugins are literally drag and drop and it takes me like 10 min to have a really professional polish to it. if y’all need help or have questions, yall better hop onto their discord server cuz like girlll everyone is so helpful and they give really concise answers!!! ### 5/5 — Exactly what I’d been looking for!!! *2024-03-19* I used to have to whip out my PC and confusing Unreal Engine(I know my way around UE but still😩) not to mention the VR tracking system which didn’t always work just to get some virtual production going. It took minutes to HOURS sometimes before I got a good track. Skyglass really made everything simple and gave me the answer I’ve been looking for, not to mention the team is really responsive and is working to make the best app possible. I love how they push out new updates almost weekly, and it’s straightforward to use.
