## What is SkyGolf?

Sky Golf is golf played straight up. Many find Sky Golf a hard game. Easy to learn, but very hard to master.

Drag anywhere on the screen — you don't have to touch the ball. Pull back to aim,
further for a harder shot, release. Land on the next ledge going up. Then the next.
Miss, and the run is over.

That's the whole game. One thumb, no tutorial to sit through, no timers, no energy,
nothing to wait for.

HOW HIGH DOES IT GO

There's no finish line. The ledges keep coming, the ground falls away, and somewhere
past the clouds the sky turns dark and you start climbing past the moon. Most people
never see it. The ones who do usually can't tell you how they got there.

EARN YOUR KIT

Every run pays out in coins, and coins buy balls, clubs and trails — over sixty of
them. A better club hits further and shows you more of the shot before you take it. A
better ball grips the green instead of skidding off it. Trails are pure vanity and
worth every coin.

A NEW COURSE EVERY DAY

One seeded course, the same one for everybody, reset at your midnight. Four score
bands to clear, three missions, and a streak that's genuinely annoying to lose.

A FAIR WARNING

This game is hard. Most runs end early, and they'll keep ending early for a while.
That's the design, not a difficulty curve waiting to flatten out.

The one thing it never does is cheat you. The ball goes exactly where you sent it, at
exactly the power you gave it — so every miss is one you can do something about. If
you want a game that lets you win, this isn't it. If you want one where getting better
is the entire point, it might be.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-09-15

Small bug fixes.

### 2.0 — 2026-09-14

Trails got rebuilt.

The old ones came out as a string of separate bubbles, because puffs were spaced by a
timer rather than by distance — so the faster you were moving, the wider the gaps.
They're laid along the actual flight path now. Cheap trails still scatter. The
expensive ones come out as one solid ribbon, and the rarer they are, the denser they
get. Prism in particular is worth another look.

NEW

- Satellites drift past once you're high enough for the moon. Cosmetic, far away, and
they won't get in your way.
- Gems now show on the round-over screen when you actually find one.
- The daily pays gems too — reach Eagle on today's course, and one of the three daily
  missions each day.
- You can finally see a trail before you buy it. The shop preview shows your equipped
trail alongside the ball and club.
- Promo code field in Settings.

FIXED

- Bunkers looked like green platforms wearing a sand costume. Redesigned properly.
- Platform corners are rounder again, back to how they looked before.
- The ball and club in the menu were floating above the green with the shadow parked
somewhere underneath. Both now sit on the surface exactly the way they do in a run.
- The flag on the tutorial card was hovering above its own hole.
- The coin counter wrapped onto a second line once you got past five figures.

FASTER

- The aiming path is rebuilt. Every dot in the preview line was being redrawn from
scratch each frame while you dragged — that's gone, and aiming is noticeably
  smoother for it.
- Collision maths that was recalculating the same answers hundreds of times a second
  now works them out once.
- The frame rate is locked properly instead of stepping down and getting stuck there.

Thanks for playing. If something in here feels wrong, the feedback form in the game
comes straight to me and I read all of it.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-30

- The +3 over a holed flag now fades instead of sticking around.
- Simultaneous bonuses show one total instead of stacked numbers.
- Fixed a perfect-landing scoring bug.
- You can now send feedback straight from the round-over screen.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-26

TRAILS
Your ball now leaves a streak behind it. Five to collect, from a soft
vapour trail to falling embers and a wake of stardust. Pure decoration —
they don't touch your stats, they just look good on the way up.

12 NEW BALLS AND CLUBS
22 of each in the Pro Shop now. The new gear slots into the middle of
the ladder as well as the top, so there's something worth saving for
whether this is your first climb or you already own everything.

BLACK HOLES
Get high enough and the sky starts pulling back. Black holes bend your
ball mid-flight. They can't swallow it — but they'll happily ruin a
good line.

THE SOLAR SYSTEM, REPAINTED
Mars, Saturn and Neptune have been redrawn from scratch, and Venus,
Jupiter and Pluto have joined the climb. Eight worlds now, and they
arrive one at a time — each fading out as the next drifts in.

SHOT PREVIEW
Every club reads one bounce off a wall or platform. The expensive ones
don't see deeper, they see further along the same line.

FIXES
Clouds now scatter across the sky instead of bunching up in the middle
every time you start a run or change your gear.
