It properly simulates Newark airport with details even down to the intersection used for Runway 22R takeoffs. The only aspect that could be improved is the features available for purchase. It took me 3 months of playing the game almost daily for me to even unlock Terminal B which is $20,000! Though the interface is somehow not beautiful but it’s understandable for a starter. What is really annoying the ads. I understand your wish to make money while attracting new user with “free” app. but users won’t be happy with being forced to wait when they click MOST buttons (in-game pause, exit game, start new game etc I haven’t tested your app completely tho, might be incorrect). Yes you can add ads to your app but don’t be annoying. ### 2/5 — Has potential but mechanics need work *2022-03-24, version 2.26.0298* I downloaded and started playing this game and I was enjoying it, until I stopped receiving outbound flights at around the 10 min mark. I thought this was a fluke and restarted, only to have the same thing happen. Then I started going through the comments and noticed this has been an ongoing issue for over a YEAR now, and it’s interesting given outbound flights are the ONLY way to make money. It’s like people release half baked games in order to earn ad revenue and try to trap you into paying real money for a broken game. I was wondering if maybe you could add on sort of like an alert that planes are about to become stuck. This would help make sure you don’t have to use the delete button should the occasion occur. One thing I suggest is that when u click on an aircraft on the side menu, the camera should go to that aircraft. It gets very hard to tell what aircraft is which when it gets busy. Other that that just small improvements to menus etc. and this simulator could be very good. Gets boring after time ### 1/5 — Good *2020-12-27, version 2.00.0168* I love ATC simulators and this is already proving to be one of the best available on iOS. I haven’t been playing long so it’s a bit overwhelming even with the least amount of traffic. The game has crashed once and set me back quite a bit when I continued. I think it would be a great help if the aircraft was highlighted when you press its information button because it’s easy to lose track of which aircraft is which when there is a lot of traffic on the move. I don’t know if there will be further developments to the game, but it would be great to have dynamic weather conditions and a day/night cycle. Edit: I’ve been playing it a bit more so just wanted to update my review. Although it was a bit overwhelming to begin with, it took about an hour to get used to everything and get a pattern going and now i’m really enjoying this game. It’s quite similar to Unmatched ATC but the developers of this game are not so greedy and I made a £5.99 in app purchase which improves the experience greatly, and worth every penny. I’ve also figured out how to highlight the aircraft i’m working with so that’s not a problem now. I really hope there are further developments in the pipeline (more airports perhaps?) and some strobe lights on the planes would be great. Edit: I’ve been waiting nearly a year for an update so that I can play the game properly. It does get annoying when you randomly come back to a saved game to find that all of your hard work has disappeared and you’ve basically been put back to the beginning. Always action on the ground and up in the air. Pros: Every taxiway, runway, gate and apron are exactly like Newark Engine start-up, shutdown, taxi and takeoff sounds Plenty of gates Many different models and liveries Wake turbulence separation Charts to help you Departure and approach patterns exactly like Newark Different runway configurations De-icing Cargo ops Controllable departure and arrival rates Cons (most will eventually be improved): Engine sound quality Airplane model accuracy and quality Fake liveries (like Canada for Air Canada and Unity for United) Terminal and scenery bad quality (will be improved) Steep learning curve (but manageable and fun!) Pros outweigh the cons, and it is improving.
