Getting an oauth error: too many subrequest by a single worker invocation. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, created new accounts, but nothing works. I can log in to Bluesky app just fine. I scroll slow and so,show audio from the previous video is still playing as my screen is black and buffering the next video. And now it won’t let me log in and says no videos available. Deleted the app. ### 2/5 — Needs a Lot of Improvements *2026-02-02, version 2.0.1* For a TikTok replacement, it falls short. While there is a feed, the algorithm just isn’t mature enough for it to be as diverse as TikTok used to be. The feed stems mostly from who you follow and some interests, but it doesn’t expand beyond that and the way to search is tied to Bluesky, making it feel less like its own thing. Speaking of feeds, there are so many glitches when trying to scroll: audio will continue even after scrolling to another video which pauses the next feed. It will also lock me from scrolling further, requiring me to force close the app and reopen it to start anew. Sometimes it doesn’t even register if I double tap to like the video either. Or if it doesn’t even register, it lags behind the input and takes a good couple of seconds for it to happen, often requiring me to scroll down then scroll back up to even see if I liked the video or not. The UX/UI isn’t that friendly either. Sometimes it feels less like a TikTok alternative and more of a BlueSky extension. I can see my profile and my text feeds, but the way to even switch to watching video feeds is cumbersome. Overall, I feel like the app is still not fully developed and will need a lot of work to be fine tuned before it can even be considered a TikTok replacement. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Habitual sign in issues *2026-08-16, version 2.0.1* I would love to use the app on a regular basis, but every time I open the app it requires me to login via BlueSky; I am habitually unable to login into my account and receive an error message stating "The operation was aborted due to time out," (after 10 seconds) which is an improvement from the previous habitual error of "Too many subrequests by single worker invocation...." ### 1/5 — Simply does not work *2026-08-15, version 2.0.1* 11 months, no updates. It does still have some bugs however, the Skylight social team seems to be really good about staying on top of that stuff and really receptive of information in regards to something not working correctly in the App or something that could actually help the app to function better. I also LOVE that every other video is not an ad or a TikTok shop item. Videos and articles and postings from people like TikTok used to be in the beginning. The execution has been stumping me a bit, specifically the deviation of the UX experience we’ve spent years getting accustomed to. It’s now a frustrating experience, all the buttons are in the wrong place and work vastly different from what’s familiar. It’s also, just bad UX, even if it’s different. I hope the founders read these and pool the opinions, I’m sure many…most others feel the same. I’ve personally emailed the people in charge and even left a comment on the developer’s TikTok feed asking for help as to why I can’t upload anything, but just silence. The app was my main go to for uploading files to Bluesky when it was version 2.0. Since the updates it’s unusable for me. Just tried again this morning to upload, it’s the same issue. As of today, 11/07/25 I am removing the app from my phone.
