## What is Skyline?

The skyscraper map, built for iPhone.

Skyline puts more than 3,600 of the world's tallest buildings on one 3D globe. They range from 133 m to 1,000 m and span more than 190 cities in 60+ countries. Fly from Dubai to Shanghai to New York, then open any building for its height, floors, year completed and photos.

EXPLORE THE MAP
• A 3D globe of the world's skyscrapers. Zoom out to see cities, zoom in to see every tower.
• Search any building or city.
• Find skyscrapers near you.
• Includes towers under construction, from Jeddah Tower to the next supertall in your city.

COMPARE A CITY
• See every tower in a city ranked from tallest to shortest.
• See how Mumbai, New York, Bangkok, Shenzhen, Chicago, Dubai and Hong Kong compare.
• Save the buildings you want to visit.

COLLECT WHAT YOU'VE SEEN
• Standing in front of a skyscraper? Take a photo with Skyline's camera to add it to your collection.
• Your phone's location and compass confirm you were really there. Library uploads don't count.
• Your profile tracks your buildings, cities and countries, and your tallest building collected.
• Watch your collection grow on your own globe.

BUILT WITH THE COMMUNITY
• Building data comes from Wikipedia and Wikidata, with credits on every building.
• Suggest edits, place missing buildings on the map, or add a new tower.

Browse the whole map without an account. You only need one to collect.

Available in English, Spanish and Chinese.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.4 — 2026-10-11

Improved sign-in and onboarding. Added photo capture for buildings awaiting review or needing a map location.

### 1.3.3 — 2026-10-10

Updated app marketing media.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-10-06

Buildings without a map location now appear in city lists. Use Set location to suggest where they belong before collecting a sighting. This update also improves navigation between building details, Explore, and your profile.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-10-04

Explore and building view improvements:

  • Explore now lists the buildings in the current map area, so the list and the
  map always stay in sync.
  • Picking a city flies the map straight there, without opening a separate city
  page.
  • Tapping another building replaces the open building view instead of opening
another layer, so Back takes you where you were faster.
  • Profile loads faster and is more compact.
  • Minor bug fixes and improvements.

### 1.3 — 2026-10-02

A new sketch-inspired design throughout the app, with updated building illustrations and clearer collection views. This update also expands and corrects the building catalogue and improves map navigation: tapping a building opens its details fully, and going back restores your previous drawer height.
