### 1/5 — Use maps for the same feature in free mode

The free mode does not give me enough. I need immediately the pro mode to see much more. What I do see are the coordinates and the next city, and even the next city was not precise enough in the free mode. I only see the coordinates and the next city. That's it. If I open any maps function, I can see the same, and I see it even virtually, so this app does not make much sense for me. Ok, maybe if you are in an airplane and want to see it and they claim you can check your location in the airplane, then it's valid, but for everything else I do not see much sense.

SkyLocation is not a maps replacement. Maps are for navigation, SkyLocation is for instant offline location awareness when internet, signal or map data is not available. It gives coordinates, city/country, altitude, speed, Horizon and private location history with no login, ads, tracking or subscription. Pro is only 2.99€ one-time, kept intentionally affordable for a tool that can be very useful when you actually need it.

Doesn’t work. slop.

**Developer response:** We're surprised to hear this. SkyLocation has been working reliably for thousands of users worldwide. However, GPS apps can fail if:

- Location permissions aren't set to "Precise" (Settings → Privacy)
- Device is indoors without window access
- iOS has a known GPS bug (fixed by restarting device)

Please email supportwith your device model and what specifically didn't work (GPS timeout? Wrong city? App crash?). We'll troubleshoot immediately.

This recent is the best one so far, am so glad I got this app quite early to experience all the new updates. Must have for travel nerds.

Shows your exact location, altitude, and speed during flights without needing internet. It is pretty easy to comprehend and a  handy tool for anyone curious about in flight statistics. Can also be used during outdoor explorations which makes it really cool.
