## What is SkyNexus | Your Flight History?

Boarding passes get thrown away. The journeys don't have to be.

SkyNexus turns your flight history into a private archive you'll want to revisit. Each flight becomes a card in the airline's era-correct colours — the livery it wore on the day you flew, not the one it wears now — with the route drawn as an arc across the world.

Four ways in. Share a boarding pass from Apple Wallet. Import a spreadsheet you've kept for years. Forward a booking confirmation to your own private SkyNexus address and let it read the flight in for you. Or add a flight by hand in four steps: when, where, which airline, confirm. However it arrives, every flight is a first-class part of your history.

Your world, drawn. Every flight becomes an arc on an interactive globe — how far you've flown, the countries you've touched, the airports you've passed through. Scrub through your flying life one year at a time.

The aircraft, too. Fleet collects every type in your history that we can identify, from the first turboprop to the last widebody. The flights you've taken and the aircraft you've spotted, together in one place.

Share the story. Send a flight you've taken as a picture. You see a preview first, and nothing is sent until you choose where. A card you share never shows your seat, your booking reference or the name on your ticket.

Yours, and private. No third-party tracking. Nothing following you around the internet. Export your flights and your sightings as a CSV file whenever you want, free. Logging is free. No trial that turns read-only.

SkyNexus Plus adds your Year in Flying and the geographies you've collected, and the story behind the aircraft where we can trace it — and it's ad-free.

SkyNexus Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.

### 5/5 — There’s me - down another rabbit hole 😂

*2026-10-21*

This app has inspired me to go back over old diaries and into boxes of personal treasure looking for clues as to the flights I’ve taken over the years. Hoping I may even find a boarding pass or a receipt of some kind. Nothing concrete as yet but I really want to get a few flights logged on my map.
I love the postcard idea too.

### 1/5 — No batch import from apple wallet

*2026-10-03*

Pointless unless you are prepared to individually click each expired pass one by one. Get this working and could be interesting

**Developer response:** Thanks for trying SkyNexus, and for saying exactly what got in the way. You're right that adding old passes one at a time is slow.

The honest reason: iOS doesn't let any app read the boarding passes in your Wallet. Apple only lets an app see passes it issued itself, so SkyNexus can't sweep through your expired passes, and neither can any other app. Wallet itself also only shares one pass at a time.

What we can do instead: forward your airline booking confirmation emails to your personal SkyNexus import address (found in the app). One email can bring in several flights at once. For trips you don't have emails for, adding a flight number and date takes a few seconds.

We're looking at ways to make bulk import faster. If you'd like to help shape it, contact us at skynexus.voyage/support. – Noel, SkyNexus

### 5/5 — A great app for flight lovers!

*2026-08-25*

Really enjoying the Sky Nexus app! It’s such a lovely way to keep track of your flying and turn your flight history into something you can actually enjoy looking back on.

I especially love the Memories feature, where your flights are displayed as beautiful postcards with your route and flight details. The World map is great for seeing all the places you’ve travelled, while the Logbook makes it easy to keep a record of your flights. I also love the Fleet feature and being able to see your flight history, years and airlines all in one place.

It’s beautifully designed, simple to use and makes keeping track of your travels feel really special. A brilliant app for anyone who loves flying and wants to keep their travel memories in one place. Highly recommended!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.11 — 2026-10-24

Photos on your cards. Add your own photo to a Flown or Seen card, and choose how it sits on the card. At a museum or airshow, log the tail and take the photo on one screen; if you allow it, a full-size copy goes to your Photos library. When you add a photo, SkyNexus blurs faces and hides any boarding pass it finds, unless you choose to keep them. A backup copy of each photo is encrypted with a key only your devices hold, and comes back on a new phone signed in to the same account and iCloud Keychain. Add up to 50 photos free, or 5,000 with Plus.

Museums and airshows. Log a visit as a museum or an airshow, log military serials, and pick the aircraft type. Shared cards from those visits show the venue’s name and, where the visit has a location, a map. A spotting sighting with a photo never shows your spotting spot on a shared card.

For spotters
• Your rarest aircraft now weighs how rare the type is, so a Short Belfast outranks a rare airliner. Tap your rarest tail to open its card.
• Some licence-built aircraft you’ve seen now name their builder on the card back, for example “Built by Westland”.
• Seen Fleet shows the operator for more aircraft that had no airline recorded.
• Seen Live keeps your screen on while it’s open.

Photos you share leave out their location and camera details. Shared images carry your @handle, if you have one.

### 1.0.10 — 2026-10-18

For spotters
- Seen Live: "Tick not already logged" ticks the aircraft in your arc that you haven't already logged on that flight today. Where it can tell, each sighting now keeps whether it was arriving, on the ground, departing or flying over, and this is now included in your backup.
- Seen Live tells you when you've already logged that aircraft on that flight today. Once we match a sighting to its flight, seeing the same aircraft on that flight again counts once on its card.
- "Rarest today" and "Rarest ever" now skip any aircraft whose broadcast doesn't match the aircraft it claims to be.
- On the Seen Live map, aircraft now move smoothly between updates.
- If you leave the app straight after saving a Seen Live session, its routes now arrive when you come back.
- When you share a Seen card with its back, your sightings from the last day are left off unless you turn on "Include today's sightings".
- Sightings with no airline now show the operator our records have for that aircraft.

Seen Live sends a position rounded to about 1 km to find aircraft near you. Your exact spot is encrypted with a key only your devices hold.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-10-10

Seen Live is here. See aircraft near you right now, on a map or in 3D. Coverage varies by area. Choose the direction and distance you're watching, tick off what you saw, and save the session to your Diary. Where we can match a sighting to a scheduled flight, its card shows the airline and route.

For spotters
- Seen cards now have a back, with your history with that aircraft.
- Your rarest aircraft, today and ever, on your Seen World page.
- Manual entry for the ones you couldn't catch live.
- CSV import of your old logs needs only date, time, place and registration. Give the place as an airport code and we position it; we add the aircraft type and route where we can match them.
- A shared Seen card now shows the same sightings and routes as the card in the app.
- Delete a sighting and it's gone from your other devices too.

For everyone
- Share your World: your globe of everywhere you've flown, or everywhere you've spotted, as one image.
- Editing a flight now saves your changes. Before, adding details such as the aircraft type, registration or class could remove the flight instead of updating it. If you lost a flight this way, please add it again, and thank you to the user who reported it.
- Settings › Contact us, Share this app, and Start fresh, which erases all your Flown or all your Seen data and keeps your account.

Seen Live sends a position rounded to about 1 km to find aircraft near you. Your exact spot is encrypted with a key only your devices hold.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-10-03

Find the share button. SkyNexus now shows you where sharing lives: the arrow in a circle, just above the top-right corner of your card. You can see it again any time in Settings, under Sharing Help.

Know it's shared. When you share a flight card or a postcard, a tick now confirms it before the preview closes.

Seen or Flown, explained. The first time you turn on Spotter, a short guide shows how the switch at the top decides whether Add logs a flight you took or an aircraft you watched. While Spotter is on, it's in Settings under Spotter Help.

Fixed: airline names on Fleet, on Seen cards and when you log a sighting now match the rest of the app — Lufthansa, not Lufthansa Cargo.

Fixed: signing in on a new phone could leave your flights, or your Spotter sightings, missing until the app was restarted. SkyNexus now retries a few times by itself.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-26

Your shared card now matches your logbook. When a flight you've taken lands the next day, the card you share now shows "+1" beside the arrival time, just as your logbook does. Journey times are written the same way on both.

A way back to SkyNexus. Cards for flights you've taken now end with a link to the app, so whoever you send one to can start their own.

Fixed: on iOS 26, the switch at the top of Memories, Logbook and Fleet is no longer cut short.
