And your Zelle is awful it doesn’t let me add people through my contacts, when I send money it lags so I have to reset the app. It takes about 3 to 4 times to send money ### 2/5 — Slow *2024-09-08, version 5.12.6.1* A stuttering lagging mess of an app. I've honestly considered switching banks just to have access to a usable app for mobile banking. Baffling the bank is ok with this app performance ### 2/5 — App is too buggy *2024-03-14* The app used to be flawless and perfect. And then they did some big “upgrade” like a year ago and it’s been absolute garbage ever since. I can hardly look through my transaction history because it is so glitchy. A banking app shouldn’t be that difficult to run smoothly, I hate this so much. ### 1/5 — Very inefficient *2024-03-07* Prior to Covid, which ever platform they had was great. It was quick and responsive and easy to use. This new platform, is very slow, glitchy and unreliable. There have been many occasions where I can’t do mobile deposits because there is “an error” and says “try again later”. The transactions also show up very sloppy. If you go back and forth between transaction details and the summary, it’s starts you all the way over every time and will look glitchy with transactions overlapping each other. It just feels clunky and cheap honestly. I feel like Skyone can do way better… ### 1/5 — Worst app remodel ever *2024-01-22* I have never written an App Store review before until now. This is the worst bank app ever. The UI is awful, everything is glitchy and I can’t see my credit card charges without the app absolutely spazzing out. The old app and design was miles better and this new app provides nothing new that I couldn’t do with the old one. I feel like I’m going to have a seizure every time I login and try to use it. If this wasn’t my oldest bank with the longest credit history I would cancel in a second. SkyOne is going downhill and this app is just awful nothing good to say, borderline unusable. ### 1/5 — App needs consistency and Plaid needs to be added back *2023-09-20* The app keeps freezing up requiring me to cancel the transaction and start all over again. However, when I go back and look at my account history, the previous transaction went through causing me to reverse a duplicate transaction. I have also repeatedly asked SkyOne to reinitiate Plaid as several of my apps can only connect through Plaid. I was told this fix will take one year to complete. I hope they will work on it sooner as I really need the Plaid connection to work. Please fix these issues. ### 5/5 — Love the New APP *2023-08-20, version 5.11.9* This version is better and more user friendly. Now I can login and see all my accounts, make transfers easily and see what promotions they have with the banner on top. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Absolutely the worst! *2026-03-26* I’ve been with this credit union for over 50 years and the only thing they ever tried to improve is screwing with the customer. They deleted people you can talk to and make it to computer algorithms. Now they’re making me change my password when I don’t want to, and I’m through with them, I’m quitting this credit union. I advised you don’t even try them! ### 1/5 — Billing *2026-03-19* When loaded on Apple phone the fonts in the billing section are vertical having to scroll a lot! ### 1/5 — Frustrating and Broken *2025-05-21* This app is awful. Navigation is a nightmare—one wrong tap and you’re lost, and going back resets your scroll. Facial recognition barely works and constantly needs to be re-setup. Worst part? Some online features just aren’t available in the app. What’s the point of having it then? This app is more pain than convenience. Total fail. ### 1/5 — When will there be a legit scroll bar? *2025-05-20, version 5.12.7* I hate this app. ### 1/5 — Old App was Way Easier *2025-02-07, version 5.12.6.1* This updated app which is a few years old now is awful to use. Glitches out, takes a long time to load, and is very cumbersome to navigate. Some fields are super sensitive so you inadvertently open pages or sections. Not intuitive to use at all. Giving one star b/c yes you can do your banking, but it’s not user friendly. ### 1/5 — The worst app *2025-02-04, version 5.12.6.1* No alerts or notifications when a transaction takes place. Impossible to contact some human being! Thinking on closing my accounts ### 1/5 — Why Am I Still Using This Lame App? *2024-12-09* I’m still using this lame app because I really like doing business with Sky One and I have no choice other than to use it sometimes. I will leave a bad review every year until it’s improved. There is NO SCROLL BAR. It’s incredibly annoying to want to scroll but then when you touch a transaction (you have no choice) the system takes you to the transaction you are intending to scroll past. Bad, bad design. ### 1/5 — Worse Every Update *2024-11-16, version 5.12.6.1* This app gets worse with every update. FaceID is broken. Now I can no longer navigate to page 2 of transactions. At least I can still see my current balance…for now anyway. ### 1/5 — More issues every month *2024-08-14, version 5.12.4* I’ve had to delete and re-download this app so many times over the year. It recognizes facial to log in for about a week and then fails again and again and again. Not a big deal but why have that feature if it always fails? On top of that, at least once every few weeks I have to “recognize my device” again by having a code sent to me before logging in. It does the same thing on my laptop even though I have used the same log in information for almost two years. With the new credit card change on top of a terrible App, the whole company won’t be around much longer with members running away as fast as we can. ### 1/5 — No improvement since last review *2024-05-22* This app is frustrating and annoying to use, but it wasn’t always this way. There was a time when I thought my coworkers were crazy for not having a SkyOne account, now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Not sure how long it’s been since my last review, but it things haven’t gotten any better. I have nothing positive to say about this app. Even opening the details and transactions section of an account can be finicky due to an overzealous desire to register any touch—including when you’re trying to scroll—as a request for transaction details. It’s laggy and by the time you realize what’s happening you’re back out to the main page. I can quickly check my balance, transfer money, and even use the neat financial tools they’ve adopted such as the budget planner without any issues. Out of all the financial apps I use, this is definitely one of the best now.
