SkyPocket turns your phone into a cockpit for passengers. Flip on flight mode and everything still works: GPS is receive-only, like a radio, so your position keeps flowing while your phone transmits nothing at all. Some flights never got a fix: iOS would quietly wedge the location session and replay the same stale position as if it were news, while any freshly opened GPS app locked on in a minute. SkyPocket now sees through the replay and rebuilds its GPS from scratch mid-flight. Distance no longer counts parked-at-the-gate jitter as flying, and when the signal is truly gone the cockpit says so plainly: NO GPS SINCE, with the tip that actually helps, a window seat with the phone near the glass.
