## What is Skypowered?

Track and understand your portable solar power with Skypowered. Whether you’re camping off-grid or exploring solar technology, Skypowered helps you monitor your panels and the devices they charge.

Here’s an overview of what you can do:
- Register devices. To do so, you only need the capacity of their battery.
- When you charge a device with your portable solar panel, simply state the yield as a percentage and Skypowered calculates the rest for you.
- Based on all the data you have ever entered, you receive important insights at a glance on the Overview tab, like total charged amount, saved money, or CO2 savings.
- You can tap on these overview cards for enhanced detailed data and comparisons.
- Analyse statistics. On the Statistics tab, you get a diagram showing the total charged amount developed in a timeframe you choose. You can also filter specific devices for more varied insights.

With this set of features and an interface that focuses on user experience and usability, the all-free app Skypowered is a great way to keep track of solar power for your small devices.

Please note that Skypowered is built for lifestyle purposes only and thus does not replace lab measurements. All the calculated values are rough estimates that do not take into account differential environmental factors.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-07

Hello Skypowered users, it's time for a new update.

This time, a big new feature is arriving. In the "Devices"-menu, you can now access the new list of all charging entries. Search, delete and edit them after they have been created.

Also, I continued to polish rough edges, especially concerning the statistics, where you will notice some Quality-of-life improvements.

### 1.2 — 2026-05-13

Hey there, it's finally time for another Skypowered update. Quite a bit has changed here, so let's dive into what's new.

- German translation. Good news for all users that speak German! The App now natively supports it.
- Choose charging date. When charging a device, you can now choose the date this event occurred.
- Statistic revamp. The chart used to look silly, with thin bars and ridiculous placement. Now they perfectly adapt to what's seen, making bar widths, placement and labeling dynamic for a much more convenient look.

As well as some minor changes, like:
- Fixed problems where unnamed devices could be inaccessible
- Updated settings UI to house the new options

### 1.1 — 2026-03-05

Hey there! Huge thanks to everyone who has already installed Skypowered so early. It's time for the first update, turning annoying things into a fresh, renewed experience.

For those who are interested, here's what's changed:
- The "Devices"-Card has been removed from the overview. The "+"-button in the top right now opens a menu which lets you quickly decide whether to manage or add devices. This forms a unified, more intuitive place to go when it comes to device management.
- You can now undo a charge up to one minute after saving. No more accidental values!
- More visual refreshments at different places in order to simplify firstly inconvenient actions and make things look better.
- More bugs and unwanted issues have been thrown out!

So, for this first update you will notice some changes.
