### 2/5 — Works ok

*2022-04-10, version 3.2.4*

The app does connect to the charger and display charge rate and internal temp of the charger and a few things that are nice to have. I like that if I’m in the next room k get a notification when the battery is done.

I dislike that the publisher shows an “info” tab that displays information about the battery connected and each cell however this feature doesn’t actually exist in the app.

Due to these missing features that they advertise as being part of the app I give it a 2 star. I would consider it more of a 4 star app otherwise.

### 2/5 — Great potential

*2021-08-13, version 3.1.5*

Much better interface than the charger however needs update,

1) Bluetooth range increase
2) increased functionality to match charger output, ie.

- on lipo function it does not display battery temp from plug in thermometer

- no quick voltage or cell resistance ability

- balance port toggle switch shows off on app even though it’s on and individual cell voltage is output

### 2/5 — Works, but it ain’t pretty

*2019-07-10*

The basic functions do work, but what a mess. UI is very dated and amateurish. Notifications are in Chinese and cannot be changed.

Good news is that it is functional. It does work without errors. While it could use a UI redo, at least it works. Could be a 3 star with language fixes so I could tell what the notifications were saying. Could be a 4 star with even the minimum UI redo with the language fix. 5 stars seems unlikely for such an app.

### 2/5 — Works but has serious bug

*2019-05-10*

I like this app to control my SkyRC charger and I think it does a great job displaying info on your current charge setup. However I’ve noticed a bug with the Bluetooth connectivity that causes the charger to stop an in process “job.” I can recreate it reliably by starting a charge job on a channel, either through the app or via the front panel. Then I use the app to view the status. Next, walk out of Bluetooth range for a minute then come back to the charger. Open the app and click on the channel with the active job. It will say charger disconnected and the panel on the charger will have stopped the active job and be back at the start. Would be great to see a fix for that.

### 2/5 — Nice when it connects.

*2018-09-10, version 2.8*

Been using this app for a bit now (15packs) and when you can get the app to link to the charger, it’s good. Problem is that the app (iPhone 8) rarely links to the charger.
A proper Bluetooth link between the charger and the device loaded with the app would be a much better set up.

### 1/5 — This isn’t FREE?

*2025-12-29*

I really wish I would have looked at the reviews before I PAID for this app. Because I can just look at the charger to see if batteries are charged. Having an app that connects to a device is only cool to show your friends. It’s not like I will ever use it. I didn’t realize I was getting charged for it until it was too late. And now I’m completely disappointed in it and haven’t even looked at it yet. Congrats on developer for scamming Mr out of $5 for an app that isn’t all that impressive anyways.

### 1/5 — PD 3.0 charging gone!

*2025-01-11*

After updating the latest firmware v3.2 using SkyCharger app for my Q200neo, the USB type C port can only charge at 5V 0.5A, the PD3.0 (20W) was gone. Please fix this bug! Yet after resetting to factory, the mobile app can’t find the q200neo charger anymore from both iOS and android.

### 1/5 — Latest release doesn’t find my device

*2024-04-16, version 3.4.55*

The precious releases worked perfectly finding my D100 v2 every time … this one which just came out doesn’t see my charger at all when I try to add it.

What’s going on Skyrc?

### 1/5 — Firmware update bricked my charger and they won’t fix it

*2020-09-11, version 3.0.8*

Subject says enough. Avoid SkyRC.

### 1/5 — Bluetooth sucks

*2020-06-25, version 3.0.8*

What’s the point of having this feature if it rarely connect to Bluetooth, useless

### 1/5 — Serious bug

*2020-02-21*

Bluetooth connectivity that causes the charger to stop an in process job

### 1/5 — No longer works for IOS 12

*2019-06-24, version 3.0.2*

Just says NO CHARGER FOUND all the time. Can’t get it to work on iPhone XS

### 1/5 — Linking

*2018-10-06, version 2.8*

I can’t get it to link at all.

### 2/5 — Why are there adverts

*2026-01-17, version 3.4.85*

I bought a charger from this company, it’s a fantastic charger, but it says on the box you need an app for it, but then forces you to watch adverts for their products (other chargers) when I’ve already bought 2 from them, feels like a huge kick in the teeth, they should be advertising their products on other apps and media not forcing people who are already customers to watch adverts when I just want to use the thing I have already purchased, whoever thought advertising on your own app was a good idea is hard of thinking, I have only used this app 3 times and I am considering binning the charger and getting one from a company that doesn’t deliberately annoy it’s customers.

### 2/5 — Won’t connect

*2024-04-17, version 3.4.57*

The new update won’t connect to my charger and I click on the charger and it loads but won’t load onto the charger

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — This app works well via my Q200 Neo charger

*2025-10-01, version 3.4.82*

The app UI is pretty easy to navigate through, people saying they had there charges bricked from firmware updates, it’s not a common thing and usually from user error, regardless you get a option to roll back to the last good update straight from the app without a computer etc, nice to see the app using Dynamic Island, plenty of features, easy to monitor and control charging functions, and getting alarms etc etc..
The only issue I have after the last update was text not lining up on the page where you can cycle through each port which hides half the
“Text showing how many Cell and what your doing with that port which could create issues depending on the operator and or scenario.. As long as the app keeps getting love from Devs will be all good!

### 5/5 — Seems to work fine

*2021-11-09, version 3.1.5*

Been using it for a short time and no issues connecting. I’m using iPhone 11 iOS 15.1. Handy to monitor charging when nearby but remember never leave lipo charging unattended!

### 5/5 — Wonderful app!

*2018-12-09*

This App is great! I have more expressive Ichargers but the portability of the B6 Nano and the easy of usability with this app make me choose that charger more often out of the 3 that I have. I like how the app tells you when the batteries are charged. All in all 10/10

### 5/5 — Needs landscape mode for tablet

*2018-11-22, version 2.9*

Love this charger and app but needs landscape mode for my tablet.

### 5/5 — Super Charger

*2018-10-30, version 2.9*

Charge 4 batteries at once, simple 👍🏻

### 4/5 — After Update app screen back ground

*2024-04-15, version 3.4.55*

Done update an background of app is white not fan off it, no option to alter background..

### 4/5 — Not perfect, but still good

*2021-12-01*

Very good for monitoring your charging batteries while attending other things. Needs some functionality improvements: 1. Ability to disable voice completely, including the startup the voice. 2. The ability to change the volume of the voice (factory settings too loud). 3)The ability to access other features, like the resistance or the meter while battery is charging 4)The Ability to set buzzer/alarm while battery is charging.

### 3/5 — So much potential!

*2023-06-26*

I just got a D200neo and love it so far.

I was wondering if/when you are planning on adding the Scan To Go / QR code capability for the D200neo? With this capability in this app you’d be able to do something incredibly differentiating in the hobby charger space - Track charge history for any battery!

E.g. Scan the QR code/sticker to start charging, and track the details in the app for number of charges, date/time started, how long it took, charge settings, mAh charged, internal resistance, and any other data so you could analyze that data over time. No other hobby charger can do this for any battery just by sticking on a QR code, and you have all the pieces to make it possible!

Or, if you don’t want to do it, just make the Bluetooth config open source and I can help write the app :)

### 3/5 — Awesome Charger. C- for the Bluetooth

*2020-04-22, version 3.0.8*

Awesome charger with great features. Problem is when I walk away with my phone as I keep it on me and not the charger, the app drops out. When it reconnects it drops the charge cycle on the battery it is on. Upgrade the Bluetooth capabilities next firmware and it’s an A+ from me.

### 3/5 — Latest update poor

*2018-11-04, version 2.9*

The app used to work flawlessly, but since the latest update, it now asks for the pin code every time I open the app, it’s like every time I open the app, it’s the first time. 5 star if I could go back to the old version
