SEARCH AND FEEDS * Live search: results update as you type, with a running count. * "Save as Pinned Feed" on the search filter panel turns a hashtag or any query with its filters into a column/feed you can return to. Search now defaults to sorting by Latest, and pinning is disabled under Top, since a pinned feed only means something for a chronological sort. Synced across devices via iCloud. THREADS AND REPLY CONTEXT * Replies now show the thread ROOT rather than the immediate parent. Most timeline replies are replies-to-replies, and a mid-thread parent read on its own is a fragment — the root is what the conversation is about. This matches Bluesky. Paired with a "Show full thread" link that opens the posts in between. * The handle a reply opens with is now accent-colored and bold in reply pills and thread continuation rows, so it reads as a mention instead of flat body text. Links and hashtags in that text are colored too. * Self-threads are marked with a dotted outline carrying a "Thread" caption at the top-left and bottom-right, fieldset style. * A thread root now draws a connector down out of its avatar, so it links to the posts below it the way the continuation rows already linked to each other. * Threads of videos play inline. They previously rendered as a column of "Video" buttons with nothing to watch. The button is kept as the fallback when "Show Videos" is off in Settings. * Quoted posts inside thread continuation rows now render as the full quote card instead of a "Quoted post" pill, and tapping the card, its author or its hashtags all work. PHOTOS, VIDEO AND LINK PREVIEWS * Full-screen photos rotate on iPhone. Turning the phone sideways to fill the screen with a landscape photo is the point of full screen, and previously only video could do it. Zoom resets to fit on rotation. * With "Show Full Size Image Previews" on, a wide photo now gets the full content width at its natural height instead of being stretched taller and cropped at the sides — most visible on screenshots of text, which were losing their left and right edges. Tall photos are unchanged, and the setting's off state renders exactly as it did before. * Link card thumbnails are laid out at the standard 1200x630 card ratio rather than a fixed height, so a normal og:image lands uncropped. * GIFs posted as a Giphy page link (what clients other than Bluesky's own picker post) now resolve to the actual animation instead of spinning on a placeholder forever. TIMELINE * Tapping "X reposted" opens the reposter's profile — which is where you'd go to mute their reposts when they flood your feed, or just to see who they are. NOTIFICATIONS * Grouping ("X and 3 others followed you") now happens on the All tab only. On a filtered tab you've already narrowed to one kind of notification, so collapsing hid the very thing you asked to see — the Follows tab now reads as a list of people, and each row goes straight to that profile. * The last segment's icon is now a bell badge instead of an ellipsis. CHAT * Muted conversations now show a bell.slash indicator. BUG FIXES Improved missing "X reposted" headers in the main feed. * Fixed an issue where you would see an inflated "N posts above" badge, which could read in the hundreds or thousands after a cold launch. * Two crashes: a theme object read from inside a toolbar item, and a duplicate identifier when a post both quoted and replied to the post you were viewing. * Tapping "Show full thread" opened the leaf reply pinned to the top of the screen, alone above a blank area with every parent scrolled off above it. The thread now opens with its parents on screen. * The Chat Requests list rendered on pure black instead of the themed background, which stood out against off-black dark styles like Sleeping Panther.
