The lights are fantastic, but the app and its scheduling function perform inconsistently if at all. Your customers feel abandoned. ### 1/5 — App is horrendous *2026-02-13* Lamp didn’t work out of box, took 2 hours of tinkering before it randomly turned on, so I’m scared to unplug it to move it. App is horrible - sometimes the lamp will be available to connect and sometimes not. Horrible feedback and troubleshooting. Disappointing in the extreme. ### 2/5 — Has trouble getting the right time *2025-11-08* This thing always has issues before/after daylight savings and I have to completely reset it. The developers need to stop trying to get cute and go back to the basics of syncing the time to what the time is on the user’s phone. I even selected my time zone in their settings and it still screws up. Please fix and I’ll give more stars. ### 4/5 — Update Problems *2025-11-05* The latest update has seemed to cause all types of issues with timing, sunrise schedule, and controlling by wake up time. Have tried multiple fixes and it no longer goes from red light to a slow twilight wake up, it just stays dark then blasts on at 100% strength. Very unsettling. ### 1/5 — Horrible. DOES NOT WORK! *2025-10-26* The app is poorly made, It’s extremely clunky. Light scheduling simply does not work. Light either doesn’t turn on at all or occasionally just randomly turns on in middle of night. One of the worst apps/software I’ve ever used. If you are just getting this lamp, RETURN IMMEDIATELY!! ### 1/5 — Glitchy *2025-10-16* Light looks nice and is cool when it works, but sometimes it won’t turn on at sunrise automatically for weeks, then randomly starts working again for two days, and then back to not working. It’s completely unacceptable and completely breaks any functionality of this being a “sunrise lamp”. Also you can’t set the time when it switches from daylight (blue) for sunset (orangey white). For instance if you set your bedtime to 12:30 AM, you get bright blue light till 9:30 pm. Horrible. So you have to manually set the evening mode every day, and also sunrise most days when it doesn’t turn on automatically. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-05-27* The app is poorly made, seemingly a fork of some home automation open source project. It’s extremely clunky. Light scheduling simply does not work. Light either doesn’t turn on at all or occasionally just randomly turns on in middle of night. One of the worst apps/software I’ve ever used. Please please rewrite from the ground up 🙏 ### 1/5 — Horrible Update *2025-03-13* I loved using this device and it was so intuitive. After the new update I’m locked out of my device despite following the steps to reprogram it. I’ve even emailed their customer service multiple times and no one has responded to me, rendering the device completely useless. ### 5/5 — Awesome - a big help *2025-03-05* The new app update is a game-changer! It’s so much more intuitive than the previous version, making it super easy to adjust the settings based on my schedule. I never realized how much lighting could impact my day until I got the my skyview lamp! As a young professional my sleep schedule was all over the place but this lamp helped me get this under control. The circadian rhythm lighting (which I knew very little about before getting this lamp) helps me wake up feeling more refreshed and stay focused throughout the day. I seem to have more energy - based a better sleeping pattern. This definitely helps me with my 2025 goals of getting healthier and be on top of things. ### 2/5 — App works horribly *2025-01-23* Nice looking desk lamp. The colors on this are really nice…when it works. The app doesn’t respond well to the lamp itself.
