## What is Skywave?

Skywave is a complete amateur-radio and RF reference that runs entirely on your device. Every lookup and every calculation happens locally — so the whole shack works on a summit, in a basement, on a plane, or anywhere the signal drops. No account. No subscription. No cloud round-trips. Nothing you enter ever leaves your iPhone or iPad.

Built for licensed hams, shortwave listeners, preppers, and anyone who wants serious RF tools without ads or logins.

REPEATER DIRECTORY
• 22,000+ repeaters worldwide, searchable offline by callsign, city, or network
• Output and input frequency, shift, CTCSS/DCS access tones, mode and status
• Filter by band, mode, digital-only, tone, or operational status
• Sorted by distance from your location, with bearing, distance and a map for each

BAND PLANS & PRIVILEGES

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Skywave collects nothing and connects to nothing. Location is used only on-device to set your grid and sort nearby repeaters, and it degrades gracefully when unavailable.

Bundled reference data is drawn from openly-licensed public sources (HearHam repeater listing, GeoNames under CC-BY, CelesTrak/AMSAT public TLEs, the ITU call-sign series and the FCC/ARRL US band plan) and is fully attributed in-app.
