I’d love to get into it, but getting cards seems to be exclusively reserved for playing pvp. Which means you HAVE TO LOSE a million times in the hopes that you face another new player eventually to at least have a chance to win. MTG Arena missions get completed weather you fight the computer or a person. This makes it possible to learn the game and earn cards at the same time. Pokémon Pocket gives you 2 feee boosters a day. You make getting new cards not fun. Your barrier to entry is a brick wall. ### 4/5 — Any future updates? *2024-09-23, version 2.7.7* After having played this game for a couple of days. It looks like it can be a good contender in the TCG world. Gameplay smooth Library of cards is some what decent Matches tend to be quick I’ve read other reviews that were left over 2 years ago so I’m unsure if this game is still receiving any support or updates any more. There is a few bugs I have spotted. But nothing game destroying. Hope the devs are still active with this game!! ### 3/5 — I can’t put find all owned cards during deck creation *2024-04-30, version 2.7.7* I’m told two types can be in a deck, but only cards of one type show up as available cards. I can’t find anything else, and nobody/nothing explains why ### 4/5 — Really good TCG *2024-01-23* This game is very well made. Very strategic gameplay with a wide variety of mechanics that allow for different play styles. The visuals and great and the music and sounds are all stellar. See you in Sky! ### 3/5 — Doesn’t play any match to the end *2024-01-16, version 2.7.7* I start them fine, runs smoothly then ends and takes me either to the beginning of the tutorial or lobby. ### 4/5 — Been really enjoying it, but now it will only load Practice Games *2023-08-22, version 2.7.4* The concept is fun, and the decks are entertaining. I’m also enjoying the slow unlock of new cards… although this 1 new Mushroom card seems pretty broken, it’s swung games by itself for and against me. I also love Singleton design. However, for the past 5 days, the “play” button has been a faded purple, not orange, everywhere except Practice. My internet hasn’t changed, so I don’t know what’s happened. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t Load *2023-05-27, version 2.7.4* I would’ve rated SkyWeaver a five as it’s game play is amazing but I’ve recently been encountering an issue where when the game is loading the screen goes black and just stays like that. ### 2/5 — Needs a lot of work. *2023-05-21, version 2.7.4* Same as any other card game. Except, this game keeps constantly reloading in the middle of a battle. Very frustrating when trying to claim prizes by moving up in the ranks. This happens every other game! No comments here ### 3/5 — Very good, but too glitchy to play *2022-11-04* I really like this game, and it seems like it would be pretty fun if I could play it more. But the game is super buggy, I can barely play practice matches with bots before I’m put back into a loading screen, or the match won’t load, or loads several times. Don’t get me wrong I definitely appreciate all the effort put in so far, and I love the art on the cards. It really is a fun game too. It is tragic that they chose to gate what I considered the best game mode until level 35. The game is solid overall but I have no desire to push through constructed for 34 levels just to enjoy discovery. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Can’t play *2025-11-20* I have deleted and downloaded this game so many times because the intro game made it seem really decent. After the intro I haven’t been able to play at all. It just won’t match up with anything not even practice with a bot. Not sure the issue but seems like they don’t care to fix any of these issues. I have emailed and they said they would let me know when it’s fixed. Been a month still the same result. If you delete the game it won’t remember that you even have an account. I’ve had to start a new account every time I redownload it ### 1/5 — Trash *2024-08-08, version 2.7.7* Trash full of bots that are always counters to your hand TRASH TRASH TRASH TRASH ### 1/5 — Not worth the time you will spend *2024-02-11, version 2.7.7* You simply can’t even make minimum wage playing this game so why waste hours and hours for next to nothing in return? ### 1/5 — Don’t trust! *2024-01-29, version 2.7.7* The game itself is fun. It’s challenging and just different enough from other TCG’s that it’s fun to play. Unless you want to pay $20 a month though go play a basic web2 F2P game. You have to buy a monthly $20 membership to access any of the web3 aspects here. If they ever drop that and just run without monthly fees like every other game out there I’ll come back. ### 1/5 — Reloading *2023-08-13, version 2.7.4* This game has a really interesting battle mechanic called “Reloading”, it happens randomly every game, typically right before I play my cards when time is running out. It doesn’t feel great when I don’t even get to play my turn because I’m staring at a blank screen waiting for the game to come back, is there a premium upgrade I can buy that allows me to use all my turns in a game? Maybe a product person should prioritize the backlog to include being able to play the game. ### 1/5 — Reset *2023-07-28, version 2.7.4* My account is constantly resetting causing me to lose any cards and progress that I’ve made. ### 1/5 — Can’t login with Apple ID *2023-03-20, version 2.7.4* Well so much for an app on an iPhone that won’t allow me to login using my Apple ID. This is not a sign up, I already have an account. The only way to play is through PC. Everything was well until the app logged me out automatically and can’t log back in. Very unfortunate, and unplayable via this app. ### 1/5 — Couldn’t play *2022-12-07, version 2.7.2* I was willing to give up email and personal information, which I don’t think a game should require. But after the 6th failed attempt to make an account I gave up and deleted ### 1/5 — can’t even play the tutorial *2022-08-12, version 2.6.3* the first turn on tutorial two can’t be ended resulting in a soft lock…fix this please. The game seems pretty enjoyable aslong as it’s playable ### 1/5 — Bugged *2022-08-07, version 2.6.1* The latest update is bugged. Really enjoy playing this game. But since the last update it keeps loading up the match, my bar will load all the way, and then sit there doing nothing for 2 minutes. Then once the 2 minutes is up it loads up the match and says ‘DEFEAT’. Then stops me playing saying I’ve abandoned too many matches. Not sure how I’m supposed to rank up here, as I’ll win a few when it does load, then it bugs out and I just lose all of what I’ve earnt. Fix this problem!!!! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Blew Away My Expectations *2024-03-27* This is easily one of the best/deepest TCGs I’ve played outside of Magic and major updates coming in the future aren’t even here yet! It’s also a masterclass on how to integrate blockchain in a way that is 100% seamless and unobtrusive, while also not feeling tacked on or greedy whatsoever. Its interesting how similar it is to hearthstone but also at the same time completely different. Its also balanced way better than hearthstone, though it has less game-mode options(I think PvE would be an interesting addition). All in all it a pretty fun game. ### 5/5 — Best Digital Card Game of All Time *2023-12-13* This game has truly exceeded my expectations for what’s possible with a digital trading card game. It’s absolutely unreal how polished and well-thought out it is. The art is incredible, the animations and effects are addicting and delightful, and the overall playing experience is just too good to be true. Huge props to the developers and artists. See you in Sky! ### 5/5 — PERFECT game. POOR algorithms. *2023-10-18* th algorithm of this game needs a HUGE improvement! Example, there is no reason why any player should be receiving a card of 10 power from the automated draw at Sunrise, when the played only has 4 mana to work with. That literally makes no sense.. A 5 power/ 6 power card is reasonable but a 10? that just makes it a given win for the opposing player. Other than that, FANTASTIC card game. Love the direction and simplicity of the game.
