## What is SlabOS Crew?

SlabOS Crew is the field app for countertop shops that run on SlabOS. Installers, templaters and shop-floor crews get their day on the phone, and the office sees it happen live.

Requires a SlabOS account. Ask your shop's SlabOS admin for a login.

TODAY
• Your stops for the day in order, with job number, address and time
• Check in when you arrive, mark complete when you're done
• Tap the map to open directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps
• The customer gets an on-the-way notice with your live ETA while you're checked in

ON THE JOB
• Work order, forms and the drawing for every job
• Leave a note for the office, or report an issue with a photo
• Take photos in a burst or upload from your library; they land on the job instantly
• Draw board for site measurements and markups, saved straight to the job files

TEAM
• Team chat with office broadcasts, photos and videos
• Emergency stop: one tap alerts the whole shop
• Push notifications for schedule changes and messages

SHOP FLOOR
• Slab inventory: add a slab from the yard with a photo cropped to its real size, print its label, search the whole inventory
• Warehouse map: see which bay a slab is in

English and Spanish.

Location is used only while you're checked in to a job, from your first check-in to your last completed job of the day, to show customers your ETA and your shop your position. Tracking stops when the day's work is done.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-19

• Load the Truck: scan each piece's SlabOS label as it goes on the truck, with a running count checked against the job's countertops
• Job pages list every contact at the job address
• Office action buttons wrap cleanly on smaller phones

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-17

Version 1.0.1 adds inventory scanning for shops that turn it on. The Bluetooth permission is only requested when a crew member taps Find readers to connect a Zebra RFID reader; nothing else in the app uses Bluetooth.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-11

No release notes.
