Slaide turns a plain-text file into a polished presentation — and this app puts the whole thing in your hand. Open a deck, fix a line, and present it full-screen from your phone or iPad.

Everything you need to work on a deck

Open any .slaide file or .slaidec bundle and see it exactly as it renders everywhere else — same fonts, same layouts, same theme. Edit the words, swap an image, reorder slides, tighten a headline in the taxi. Present full-screen with speaker notes on your device while the audience sees only the slides. Export to PDF or an editable PowerPoint file and send it from wherever you are.

Build a new deck from a sentence (paid account)

Describe what you need and Slaide writes it — structure, headlines, supporting points, all laid out in your theme. It checks its own work, renders the result, and fixes what doesn't fit before handing it to you. A pitch on the train. A workshop outline between meetings. A client update you'd otherwise have written at midnight.

Your design, applied automatically

A Slaide theme is a reusable master: fonts, colors, spacing and layouts defined once. Every slide you write or generate arrives already on-brand, so there's no dragging text boxes on a touchscreen — the one job phones have always been bad at.

One source, every format

The same file becomes a web deck, a print-ready PDF and a real PowerPoint file with editable text boxes and shapes. Nothing is flattened into pictures, and nothing drifts between formats.

A deck is a small text file you can read, diff, back up and keep. Slaide's core format is open source under Apache-2.0. If you ever stop using us, your decks still open.

Works with decks made in the Slaide desktop app or CLI, so what you build at your desk is on your phone when you need it.
