This app is a must-have for anyone who struggles with falling asleep or simply wants to enhance their relaxation routine. The variety of sounds is really good, and I find them incredibly relaxing. My friend Serenity has this app as well, connected to her Amazon echo dot. The dream music, spa music, and ocean sounds are my personal favorites; they put me to sleep nice and easy. The sounds drown out the distractions and ease all the stress and wash my clouded thoughts away. When I’m winding down and getting ready for bed after a long day, I always turn on a sound in this app and then go right to sleep. I used to listen to it every night to cover up my tinnitus, there was honking, it sounded like a CITY, but now it’s just the sound of cars passing by?? It doesn’t even sound like cars really. It could be ocean waves for all I know. If you want to make that an option for people who don’t like the honking then fine but make both available!! Please I’m begging!! Also, for anyone struggling to link to Alexa - I got around this issue by adding sleep jar to my nighttime routine. For some reason it only links properly when I route it through the nighttime routine ### 1/5 — Phone number *2025-10-07* I’m trying to keep this as kind as possible please offer a phone number option. I can’t even sign into the app because I don’t have an email address. Use it on my Echo Dot to fall asleep but was using the app on my phone. I can’t sign in because there is an email issue. I don’t have an email address and there’s literally no way to get around it. I downloaded the iPhone app for an easy way to look through the different sounds available. Doing this via Alexa is laborious, and doing it on the sleep jar website has a constant audio watermark. For whatever reason the list of sounds in this app is completely blank for me. So currently the app is pointless. My rating reflects this. If the app worked as it should and has all of the sounds it would be an easy 5 stars. ### 1/5 — Supposed to work with Alexa? *2025-04-08, version 1.2.55* I use Sleep Jar on Alexa all the time. Recently, some sounds have told me the I need to download the app to my phone and link it to my Alexa account. Ok, so I downloaded the app, linked my account, and… Alexa still says the same thing, and there doesn’t appear to be any way to interface with Alexa from the app (other than the aforementioned account linking). The worst part is the 10 hour cycle. This is totally unnecessary and causes the baby to wake up. Recently Sleep Jar became sleep sounds now it appears I no longer have premium, which I paid for! The app won’t let me combine. Sounds as I was able to do in Sleep Jar! I’ve reached out to the app owner twice now and get told the same thing somebody will get back to me. I’m still waiting? hopefully this finds its way to whoever does Sleep Jar/sounds and gets this fixed? I would give it more stars, but feel that my premium price I paid.
