## What is SleepBlock?

SleepBlock is a bedtime commitment app for anyone who picks up their phone to check one thing and looks up an hour later. Tell SleepBlock which apps keep you up, set your sleep window, and it blocks those apps automatically at bedtime — so putting the phone down isn't a fight every single night.

---

YOUR SLEEP PLAN
Answer a few quick questions — your goal, what gets in the way, and which apps eat your night — and SleepBlock builds a personal plan around your real bedtime and wake time.

BLOCK YOUR TEMPTATIONS
Using Apple's Screen Time technology, SleepBlock locks the exact apps you choose during your sleep window. Fully opt-in — you pick what's blocked and when.

SLEEP TRACKING
Log every night with a single tap: Sleep Now, then Wake Up. No timers to fumble with in the dark.

YOUR HISTORY
See a 7-night chart, your average duration and sleep score, and a streak that keeps you honest. Every night shown is real — logged in-app or synced from Apple Health — never invented.

APPLE HEALTH SYNC
Optionally sync sleep data both ways with Apple Health, so everything lives in one place.

PRIVACY
Your data is never sold, and SleepBlock shows no ads. An account is required to save your plan and keep your subscription and history in sync across devices.

---

SleepBlock Pro unlocks the full app with a 7-day free trial, then continues as a yearly or monthly subscription. Cancel anytime in Settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4 — 2026-08-23

Now, you can refer a friend using your referral code.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-06

Fixed a bug that could erase your sleep history.

If you tapped "Get started" with an Apple ID, Google account, or email you had already signed up with, the app signed you in without saying so — and then cleared the nights you had saved. It no longerdoes. It tells you the account already exists and takes you straight back to your own record, untouched.

Your nights also back up more reliably now. A night logged with no connection gets uploaded the next time the app opens, instead of being left behind.

New
• Feature requests — suggest what SleepBlock should do next. In Settings.
• Your record now shows when each night ran, not just how long it lasted, along with your average bedtime and wake time.

Fixed
• App blocking re-arms after a snooze instead of staying open for the rest of the night.
• "Unlock anyway after 6h" now counts six real hours from when you fell asleep, rather than six hours of screen time.
• Blocking a whole category shows up properly on your profile instead of reading "+more".
• The asleep timer sits centred in the widget, and the tinted home screen style no longer washes it out.

Also
• Your subscription keeps working for two days without a connection, so a weak signal never locks you out.
• Profile is quieter — one headline number instead of competing stats.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-28

Five more minutes, when you need them.

When your apps lock at bedtime, the block screen now tells you how far past
your bedtime you are — and lets you take five more minutes. Twice a night,
then the button is gone. Once you've started your sleep session, the lock
holds.

Your countdown no longer skips ahead to tomorrow.
Past your bedtime, Home now counts up — "past bedtime, 16m" — instead of
jumping to tomorrow's bedtime twenty hours away. If you're still up, the
number that matters is how late you are tonight.

Widgets, rebuilt.
• Small: the countdown is the headline now, with your bedtime beneath it
• Medium: adds a live bedtime countdown, with less clutter around it
• Large: opens with last night's sleep
• Every size draws the same chart as the app

A more honest sleep chart.
• Nights you missed show as gaps — including last night
• An afternoon nap can no longer replace a full night's sleep
• Your streak counts consecutive nights, as it always should have
• Your sleep target reads "7h 45m" instead of "7.8h"

Also fixed.
• "Bedtime in 24h 00m" appearing at exactly your bedtime
• Subscription status now links reliably to your account

### 1.1 — 2026-07-23

### 1.0 — 2026-07-15
