## What is SleepLock?

Your phone follows you into bed. "One more video" turns into 2 AM, and tomorrow you pay for it.

SleepLock is the first app blocker built for one job: protecting your sleep. There are plenty of focus apps and habit trackers, but none of them are made for the moment that matters most - when you are tired, in bed, and still reaching for your phone. SleepLock fills that gap.

Using Apple's Screen Time API, SleepLock locks the apps and categories that keep you awake. Set your sleep window once, choose what to block, and SleepLock enforces the boundary automatically every night.

What SleepLock helps with:
- Stop late-night scrolling before it steals another hour of sleep
- Block social, news, shopping, games, or any app category during bedtime
- Keep separate schedules for work nights and rest nights
- See protected nights and streaks so the habit stays visible
- Unlock for tonight only when you truly need a break, then re-lock from Home
- Keep your blocking setup private on your device

How it works:
1. Grant Screen Time access.
2. Pick the apps or categories that pull you back in bed.
3. Set your bedtime and wake-up window.
4. SleepLock automatically shields those apps during the schedule.

SleepLock is not another alarm, sleep sound, or habit checklist. It is a firm bedtime boundary for the moment willpower is lowest.
