### 2/5 — Poor customer service

*2025-05-15, version 2.4.13*

I have bought two SLEEPON devices and really don’t know how accurate they are, but my real issue is that they have poor support. Only an email contact form which I have sent two messages to for issues I’m having with both devices and they have never responded. Very questionable

### 3/5 — Glitchy

*2024-11-05, version 2.4.13*

11/4. Keeps telling me I need to update firmware, but when I click "update" it says I have the most current firmware and the feature I was trying to access doesn't work. After trying this device for a time I'll update my review.

### 4/5 — An impressive item.

*2024-09-05, version 2.4.13*

I think the data supplied by the Sleep ring is accurate and worthwhile. The progress reports are great. Occasionally it misses a night and the receiver can fall out of the holder. Impressed enough to get Sleep 3.

### 2/5 — Recording working intermittently

*2024-09-01, version 2.4.13*

I wear the SLEEPON ring for a few weeks now. It stopped recording twice 2 Nights in a row. No tech support number available. Email took a few days to respond. Copy & paste answers; none of them help. If you want a 5 star review, please earn it!

### 2/5 — Incorrect readings

*2024-07-13, version 2.4.13*

I know what my basic heart rate and O2 saturation are. The readings are completely inaccurate and I’m so disappointed. I wanted this to really work. I got the fingertips sensor and it’s completely an inaccurate. :(

### 2/5 — Faulty battery, poor support

*2024-01-07, version 2.4.13*

When the device works, it is great, just as advertised. The SleepOn app is also satisfactory. However, my device stopped charging after about three months; contacted support (difficult to communicate, possibly based in China), no resolution after numerous emails, they just try to sell you replacement chargers and devices, horrific customer care filled with cliché customer service nonsense. So, if you want to spend over $100 for about 3 months (maybe longer, maybe shorter)of functionality, this sleep tracker may work for you, it didn’t for me.

### 2/5 — Software not good

*2023-11-15, version 2.4.13*

I’ve been using this for a couple months now and get more disappointed each week. First, while the graphs are nice you cannot zoom them. It’s difficult to see details. But the worst thing is how it handles when you move. If the ring looses contact with your finger for a couple of seconds it vibrates until it reconnects, even if it connects only 5 seconds later. The software assumes you woke, took off the ring, put it back on and started a new sleep session. If this happens 2 or 3 times in the night the software does not put the sessions together. You have to look at each one individually. This is quite dumb. But even worse, the graphs are not accurate. Session 2 will often show the same graphs as session 1, which means the data for session 2 is lost. If you don’t move during the night at all then this will work for you. But hand movement can easily bump the ring causing it to loose contact for a couple of seconds. Very annoying. This last week, twice it reported, “no data” in the morning. No reason or explanation, just no data despite wearing like every other night. Less reliable each week.

### 1/5 — Technical Support and Customer Service

*2023-11-08, version 2.4.13*

Basically, there is none. Your out of luck if you have a problem, such as figuring out why your device is suddenly not recording sleep data.

On intermittent nights, the device reports that “no data is available for this time period.”

Customer service is unavailable except by email, and when they email, the information they provide is not sufficient to solve the problem.

There is poor customer service and technical support for help in the SLEEPON Go2Sleep ring device.

### 1/5 — Stopped working after a few days

*2023-10-30, version 2.4.13*

Still trying. Wear every night but no data gets transmitted. So not waste your money.

### 1/5 — Worst

*2023-10-24, version 2.4.13*

First, they sent me one that was broken. I asked for a new one since this is an expensive product, they forced me to pay $25 for shipping and would not give a refund, even after sending video evidence per their request. 2nd one broke after 3 months. Will no longer connect at all. Don’t buy.

### 1/5 — Nie można pobrać aktualizacji

*2023-10-12, version 2.4.13*

Nie można pobrać aktualizacji oprogramowania. Cały czas zaczyna ściągać od nowa i tak w kółko.

### 1/5 — Not accurate

*2023-10-09, version 2.4.12*

The sleep data is not accurate at all. I got up in the night multiple times and it still records it as being asleep. Also the device battery will barely stay charged for an entire night. I wanted to return the device but apparently they don’t accept returns if it has been opened and/or used. I wish I’d never made the purchase. It was a big waste of money.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — New Software Horrible

*2026-05-11, version 2.4.13*

Until this latest "upgrade" this device really helped me. It showed my heartrate all night long and the spike and dip times that showed I had nocturnal hypertension. This new version is garbage. It shows a high and a low with nothing in between and no times. Just sad to see this outfit get so lazy.

### 1/5 — Beware. Limited life of product

*2026-04-30, version 2.4.13*

I was requested to upgrade to the Sleepon app which rendered my ring unusable. Sleepon admitted this and now won’t answer my messages to replace my unit. Very unhappy about this and cannot recommend anyone to use this company.

### 1/5 — Seems inaccurate

*2025-03-09, version 2.4.13*

The results between using the ring and fingertip vary greatly. With the ring I have sleep apnea, with the fingertip I don’t. The sleep cycles are not accurate. It says I’m in a deep sleep when I have been up, awake and out of bed. It gives me 98% when I’ve been up several times a night and have not slept well. There’s no guarantee with purchase so I’m out the money for a misleading device.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-02-15, version 2.4.13*

After using this for close to a year I’ve decided that it’s only good as an alarm clock. It never registers any deep sleep. Says I’m awake when I’m not, ie., says I was awake 2 hours when I clearly wasn’t.
All of the information besides sleep stages are absolutely meaningless. Sleep stages is the only parameter that matters and this device never gets it right. I have another sleep tracker that disagrees every night.
I do like the Biological Clock. I use it as my alarm clock. That works really well.

### 1/5 — GARBAGE - Waste of Money

*2024-11-15, version 2.4.13*

It’s simple:

Product = Garbage
Customer Serice = Garbage
Customer = Robbed

That’s all folks…

### 1/5 — Do not Upgrade Firmware

*2024-07-23, version 2.4.13*

After upgrading the firmware on my original sleep ring 2.0, to try out the 3.0 app, it doesn’t display sleep stages or any thing useful. If you had the new ring it probably will, but the old ring does nothing.

Then after going back to the old app, the ring no longer syncs with it, because of the firmware update I am guessing.

If you own the original ring, don’t update the firmware to try the 3.0 app, or you will basically brick your ring. The 3.0 app doesn’t even sync to Apple Heath.

Also, the 3.0 app collects data now, where as the 2.0 app did not according to apple app store privacy details.

### 1/5 — SleepOn App does NOT work

*2024-05-25, version 2.4.13*

SleepOn App does not work. Tech support does not address issues. Don’t waste your money.

### 1/5 — No data

*2024-04-30, version 2.4.13*

No data again. Missed data reporting four times last month. This unit is defective and no longer useable after one year.

### 1/5 — Think twice

*2024-03-18, version 2.4.13*

Instructions are vague. I have had my unit a week and am not able to get it to work. I’m not sure how it works, but I wish I could call a number and get someone to help me. Apparently that’s not possible.😡

### 1/5 — Terrible/No customer service

*2023-11-11, version 2.4.13*

I’ve been having a problem with the app retrieving device from the ring. I emailed them once about it and they sent me an email back telling me to restart the phone. I did an emailed them and let them know that I had and it did not fix it,no reply for two weeks. I recently sent another email a week ago to them letting them know I’m still having problems and have heard nothing from that email.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome Device

*2025-10-01, version 2.4.13*

Lots of sleep data

### 5/5 — Review Sept 2024

*2024-09-09, version 2.4.13*

I have used V1 and V2 periodically over the last few years. I generally do this consistently for a few months to get a good look at whats going on with the data collected and then forget about it for a long period until I feel something may have shifted.
The reason for this review is that I’ve noticed there has been a steady increase in the ability to collect data, in the quality of the data reporting, and an effort to continually improve its usefulness as a health monitoring tool.
Even though I own both V1 and V2, I plan on purchasing a V3 because it is a very nice upgrade.
That you SleepOn!

### 5/5 — Bien

*2024-07-07, version 2.4.13*

Bien

### 5/5 — Everyone should have this device

*2024-06-06, version 2.4.13*

Sleep apnea is probably as prevalent and detrimental as hypertension. It is also as insidious and requires technology to monitor and analyze. This ring packs a sophisticated sleep lab into a tiny package. Remarkable. In my opinion, they should be routinely distributed to people at medical wellness visits. (I am a physician)

### 5/5 — Above expectations

*2024-03-09, version 2.4.13*

I’m really impressed with this device. It’s very detailed. I get detailed report of REM, light and deep sleep without a membership.
I only wanted a sleep tracker so I sent back Oura ring because I knew I wasn’t going to pay membership year after year and it was just going to end up in jewelry box.

### 5/5 — Very impressed

*2024-02-16, version 2.4.13*

Compared it with other tools and this one is by far the best. It is easy to wear , accurate and the app is amazing . The data available is great and useful

### 5/5 — Worth the small investment

*2024-02-15, version 2.4.13*

I recently started wearing the SLEEPON ring. So far I love it especially when I am concerned about sleep hygiene since I workout 6 days a week & I wanted to make sure I am recovering well. It was easy to figure out everything was straightforward as far as set up etc. Shipping was quick and I definitely recommend this product.

### 5/5 — The best sleep monitor if you want the raw data!

*2024-01-24, version 2.4.13*

I tried several different sleep monitors to help with health issues. Sleepon is the only one that will give you all the raw data easily and in an easy to use format! There are some quirks to it but for the price and no subscription I think it’s very fair. Here’s what I’ve noticed:

1. The oxygen levels seem low. Like I’ve never had 100% oxygen, ever. Typically 90-97% is what I’ll have but I’ve seen it drop to 80 or below when I have an apnea event. So I don’t know. It seems like it starts lower than it should but it does document the drop. So it serves the purpose.

2. You MUST open the app and sync the data daily or you may lose data. It’s annoying but again, it’s a free service and the least expensive device.

3. Sleep stages are off or unreliable. All the devices I tried disagreed on sleep stages so I can’t say for sure sleepon is wrong. But it does identify when I’m awake properly. So again it seems to serve the purpose. Most notably, sleepon will show awake and deep sleep fairly accurately. It’s the other stages that it can’t tell.

4. The movement tracking is accurate. It has shown nocturnal seizures with a combination of heart rate changes, blood oxygen level drops and movement. This is one of the main reasons I was trying to track my sleep and this was the only device that worked. When combined with a sound recording app, I can definitely confirm my suspicion. (Sometimes you aren’t sure you had a seizure in your sleep)

5. You have to charge it every day if you want to be sure the battery will last a full night. Sometimes it will make it two nights. But I think this is reasonable will how it’s constantly using multiple LEDs taking measurements by the second intervals it uses. It has a LOT more data than other devices that measure every minute or less frequently.

6. The app occasionally logs me out and says it’s because it’s logged in to too many devices. I think this is just a bug due to session expiration or an update to the app. Not sure but it doesn’t seem to indicate a hacker stealing your data.

Anyways, the accuracy has been as good as other monitors I tried at the same time but included much more detail. For example I wore sleepon with an apple and Garmin watch at the same time while using a sleep alarm clock that recorded sound. They mostly matched up with their numbers but sleepon provided more detailed measurements in an easy to read graph. You can then export the data as a csv on your computer for analysis. This led to me discovering that the alarm clock app that was supposed to wake me up during the right stage of sleep was actually waking me up at the wrong time! Sleepon was the only device I could find where you can see your movement along with heart rate and oxygen all at the same time. Oura didn’t do that. Neither did any others. It can definitely use some refinement but overall it is the best I found for tracking apnea and seizures. Don’t be dissuaded by the negative reviews on Reddit and whatnot. Everyone has different ideas of the ideal sleep monitor and doesn’t appreciate how cheap a one time expense of $100 is compared to other sleep monitors. Garmin or Fitbit were the next closest but still double or more and provided a lot less data. I think over time with more development it could become even better. The app can definitely use some work!

### 5/5 — Excelente

*2023-04-30, version 2.4.12*

Buenísimo! La app es muy sencilla de usar y muy estable , muestra toda la información necesaria para evaluar el sueño

### 5/5 — It works well

*2023-01-08, version 2.4.12*

Nothing to add.
