I opened it today to show a friend how to use it and ALL the options. I paid for all the downloads, and now, they are all gone. No chimes, no chants, just soft piano playing. Highly disappointed ### 3/5 — Needs an Update *2025-05-06, version 3.3* I still like this app after 10 years of use but it hasn’t been update in 7 years! You’d think if it’s still be sold in the App Store the developers would still be actively improving/fixing the app but that doesn’t seem to be the case. BetterSleep offers more but requires a yearly subscription. However, they are constantly improving the app unlike SleepStream. ### 4/5 — 174 hz *2024-07-16, version 3.3* Would give full 5 rating. I can’t even pick a favorite because I use most of them. At work I use the focus binaural beat with noise canceling headphones to block out background chatter. I would easily give this app 5 stars for content, flexibility, and beneficial aspects helping me asleep at night. The one major pain is the UI/UX. When trying to select a background sound and background beats from the left side menu the screen will quickly revert to the current selection even though your trying to review all of the options. This one isn’t too bad but the real issue is with the right side sub-menu selection screen. More often than not the very small arrow selection spot doesn’t register a tap. I have to close, quit the app, and try again. It’s very quirky and persnickety to input. Many options perfect for relaxing and guided sleep meditations, instant energy, anti-anxiety and many more. I give this app a solid 5 stars.
