## What is SleepTracker?

SleepTracker records your sleep automatically with an Apple Watch — or with just your iPhone on the mattress — and turns the night into a clear picture of your stages, heart rate, and recovery. No setup, no account, nothing to configure.

No account. No sign-up. No email. No ads. Open it, allow Apple Health, and go to bed.

HOW IT WORKS
• Wear an Apple Watch to bed and open the app — sleep stages, heart rate, HRV, and breathing sync straight from Apple Health
• No watch? Set your iPhone on the mattress and tap Track Sleep with iPhone — it uses movement and sound to estimate your night
• Numbers match the Apple Health app exactly, down to the minute

WHAT YOU GET
• Sleep rings that show Sleep, Quality, and Deep at a glance
• Full stage breakdown — Deep, REM, Light, and Awake
• Bedtime, wake time, time to fall asleep, and sleep efficiency
• Readiness, Sleep Fuel, and Recovery scores built from your real HRV
• Heart rate, HRV, SpO2, and respiratory rate with Apple Watch
• A smart alarm that wakes you in a lighter stage near your target time
• Sleep consistency, trends, history, and a calendar of every night
• Tags for caffeine, late meals, workouts, and stress, so you can see what actually changes your sleep

BUILT BY ONE PERSON
I built SleepTracker for myself, in a year when AI finally made something like this achievable alone — then kept building whatever people asked for. No team, no investors, and no roadmap written by anyone but the people using it. And no subscription: sleep data you already own shouldn't be rented back to you month after month.

YOUR SLEEP DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Sleep and health data is read from Apple Health only after you allow it. Microphone audio is analyzed on your device and is never recorded, stored, or uploaded. There is no account to create and no profile to sell. No tracking of you across other companies' apps or websites, and nothing shared with data brokers.

TELL ME WHAT TO BUILD
See something in another sleep app that you wish this one had? Email mark@vibecode.review. I read every message and I build what people actually ask for — that is how most of this app got here.

Sleep better by understanding your nights, automatically.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 4.45 — 2026-09-08

Small wording improvements to the upgrade screens.

### 4.44 — 2026-09-05

Editing a night and then tapping Back used to throw the whole edit away without a word — both times, the mood, every tag and the note. It now asks first, and only when you have actually changed something.

A long note no longer takes over the Today card; the full note is still there under View Full Session.

### 4.43 — 2026-09-03

"Last night" now only appears when the night really was last night. Opening the app on a morning that wasn't tracked described a night from two days earlier as the one you had just had; it names its own date instead, and the heading reads Last Session.
A night is labelled by the morning it ended — "woke Tue, Sep 1" — rather than by a bare date that reads a day off.
Everything from the previous update is included: a watch night merged with a phone night keeps its note, tags and emoji, an interrupted session can be resumed from Today, naps show as naps, early bedtimes plot correctly, session detail shows times on your phone's clock, and the time steppers move in clean five-minute steps.

### 4.36 — 2026-09-01

Apple Health, fixed and finished.

- Connect Apple Health now works properly and asks for permission as it should.
- The app tells you what happened every time you connect or sync, instead of leaving you on a screen that never changes.
- Nights you track with your iPhone are now saved to Apple Health, so they show up there and in your other apps - no Apple Watch needed.
- When a night is recorded by both your Apple Watch and your iPhone, the Apple Watch reading is the one you see.

### 4.6 — 2026-08-15

This update improves app stability and reliability.
