Sprinting adds to the intensity, slowing down makes me frustrated, not scared. It was annoying and took away from the scary experience. Make the flashlight dimmer and occasionally go out, the player is less scared because he feels safe with a really good flashlight. Whoever said he couldn't have a crappy dollar store flashlight that flickered rarely? Make the game harder. Waaaaay too easy, and that's why I deleted the game. Making it harder means that the player feels the intensity. Make the death scene extremely disturbing / faster to make the game scary.
