I have to say, it runs more smoothly than slender the arrival does on the Xbox 360. The controls are great. Each game comes with four maps, four different ambiences, and three gamemodes, total. You can also change the type of flashlight. There's a normal light, a limited battery light, a lantern, or no flashlight. I really like that there's this much customization! That's why another slender rising should come out. If I were to make a wish list for another game, it would have to be along the lines of this: the four maps being a carnival, a swamp, a suburb, and a farm with a cornfield or something, much like the one from the mission 'Homestead' from the Arrival. Maybe a new type of flashlight called 'flare mode' where you carry a limited amount of hand flares and drop them to light up an area perpetually. You'd be able to pick them back up, though. The more variety there is to the manner in which you play the game makes it way better. Even if that means just changing the type of flashlight, or time of day. Another way is by adding different enemies. If we could see a sort of variation as to what is trying to kill you throughout the game, then that would be great. To see something like the proxies from the Arrival added as an individual option for each map would be really cool. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The game keeps crashing *2019-10-04, version 1.3* Whenever I try to play this game it keeps constantly crashing for some reason. I believe this game requires an update that suits the latest iOS version given it has been a while since this app was last updated. Couples years later around late 2021, I got both games, “Slender rising,” and “Slender Rising 2.” Slender Rising 2 is definitely more terrifying than the first one. Especially when the souls run at you randomly as soon you get to them. Anyways, this slender man game is amazing, not just the gameplay but the noises and the designs of the map as well. Also this slender man is basically on crack since like when I look at him for like 1 second, turn around, and he’s behind me! So I’ve made some ideas for Slender Rising 3 Please hear them out: Modes: Mode 1: Souls & Signs. Description: Find As Many Signs And Souls by challenging your self to horror trip Mode 2: Survival! Survive as much as you can! (Time and weather will change and you need to collect souls or signs to survive) Maps: (please choose which you like) Option 1: Haunted Park (a lot of trailers and mobile rusty houses) Option 2: Foggy hills (a very scary place that makes it much darker and figure and slender man appears there and starts grabbing you that makes a good jumpscare in the fog) Option 3: abounded cemetery ( a place full of graves and trees and some old houses you can go in and furtherly explore inside. Option 4: Forgotten Warehouse (Very indoor and creepy) Jumpscares: I don’t know if it’s hard make sure something falls down and makes loud noice for example you walk at the ware house and something falls down and makes a loud noice and a few seconds later you see slender man Advanced options: flashlights: lantern, battery, infinite, none, torch (the one that burns) Enemy appearance: old, normal, Strong.(bigger and sharper tentacles) For his animation tentacles will get out like swords behind him and not wave like original slender man does but they will be thin and sharp approaching the player. I’ve been trying to play it and maybe it’s just my phone but whenever I would try to start a level the app would immediately crash. Again maybe it’s just my phone but still an update would be nice because this was always one of my most favorite horror games to play on mobile.
