## What is SLFM?

Tired of polished football sims with billion-pound transfers and pristine stadiums? This isn't that.

Sunday League Football Manager drops you onto a muddy council pitch with eleven hungover blokes, a wonky goal and one job: survive the season. Your biggest worry isn't the title race — it's getting 'Sicknote' Steve to pay his overdue subs.

PLAYERS WITH ACTUAL PERSONALITIES

Every player has a personality that shapes how they react to you — fiery Egos, dependable Workhorses, sensitive Peacemakers, unreliable Socialites. The heart of it is the gap between who they think they are and who they really are: the lad convinced he's The Architect who actually just hoofs it into row Z. That disconnect cracks wide open under pressure and drives bespoke match commentary.

Players form friendships, best-mate bonds and proper grudges that spill off the pitch — into training-ground fights, group-chat meltdowns, and the occasional walkout in solidarity.

THE WEEKLY GRIND

Live the authentic cycle: Monday's match fallout and recovery, Wednesday training, Friday's flood of excuses landing in your inbox, and Sunday's drama. Miss a step and it'll bite you.

MATCH DAY

Games play out in sharp, cutting text commentary that reflects who's actually on the pitch. Set your tactics (anything from 'Hoof It' to 'Park the Bus'), pick your mentality, make your three subs, and burn 'Shout' points for a boost when it's slipping away. Read the room at half-time — the right team talk depends entirely on who's standing in front of you. And when all else fails, there's always the Hairdryer.

THE DOG & DUCK — YOUR SECOND OFFICE

Post-match, you're in the pub: listening to moaning, handing out Man of the Match, prising subs out of tight fists, and scouting new talent by buying rounds until their better judgement caves and they sign.

DODGY FINANCES

Balance a budget held together with sellotape. Cover match fees, pay league fines for every card (then chase the culprit for the money), run unreliable fundraisers and court sponsors to keep the lights on.

BUILD A LEGACY

Climb an eight-division league with promotion and relegation, chase cup glory, and watch your story stack up in the Manager's Journal — your CV, your trophy cabinet, your club records and your fiercest rivalries.

A deep management sim with real character and strategic depth beyond the numbers. Built for portrait mode and made for your commute, your lunch break, or a quiet pint.

Can you handle the chaos and drag your unlikely lads to Sunday League immortality?
