It was amazing for tracking packages and keeping all of my purchases organized and easy to locate. For the past year, it’s been glitchy, and now it barely works at all. During the busy holiday season, when I shop exclusively online, it didn’t upload any of my information. It didn’t track any of my shipments or purchases. Tried deleting and reinstalling, unlinking and re-linking my inbox…nothing. No response from customer service or tech support at all. ### 1/5 — Not working *2022-12-18, version 7.9.7* I used to love Slice and it was the only package tracking app I would use because it’s so user friendly. Recently, it just stopped tracking my packages and updating them. I tried to manually mark some as delivered or even delete them from my tracking but nothing would remove them. Then no more new packages would display. I tried removing the app, re downloading it, unlinked my email accounts and delinked them, tried update passwords and even removed my account and re registered to no avail. I even tried manually entering tracking numbers but they still wouldn’t show up. I really hope Slice fixes whatever issue(s) are happening so I can come back to Slice. ### 1/5 — DEVELOPERS- let us know what’s going on? *2022-11-02, version 7.9.7* For years, Slice was an essential app for me. I tried multiple shipment tracking apps before discovering Slice; no other app even came close in comparison. The convenience of having all of my orders with the ability to track the shipments alone made Slice a 5 star app. The shipment tracking notifications, and having the ability to link accounts so my orders and shipments appeared automatically was extremely convenient. Being able to search your order history, view money spent in specific categories and price tracking were bonuses to me. Unfortunately, Slice is now completely unusable. Over at least the past year, the app slowly became more and more glitchy, until eventually it began crashing upon opening- every time, without fail. Since losing all access to Slice, I've been trying to find a replacement, but I've been unsuccessful in finding an app that even resembles Slice and its features. From the lack of updates and disregard of user’s reviews, I assume the developers have decided to discontinue the app, but I don’t believe it’s asking much that you simply inform Slice users of what’s going on. Especially since unless you fix Slice, your lack of communication combined with the app beginning to crash constantly to the point that it’s inaccessible, has prevented users from accessing their data and the ability to download their Slice data. ### 1/5 — This app used to be good *2022-04-21, version 7.9.7* I order online almost every day. Groceries, big box items, clothes, decor, furniture - almost exclusively all online so an app like this is a must to track my packages. It was great for several years then it stopped recognizing half my deliveries. Usually deleting and reinstalling gets rid of whatever bug but this last rime in March 2022 that did nothing. Even after packages were delivered, it would say they’re on their way still. Whenever I tried to delete them or mark them as delivered to get them out of my expected delivery, I pushed the button and nothing would happen. I deleted and reinstalled it and instead of everything coming back and refreshing, now it tells me the latest order I have is from February 2021…..hmmm I don’t think so. Stinks cause there’s no other app I can find like this out there that checks your emails and updates your orders and deliveries automatically in the app. Everyone else offers manual input, who wants to do that 10+ x a week?? No thanks. Fix your app!!! ### 1/5 — Went from amazing to absolute crap *2022-04-08, version 7.9.7* Slice used fo be amazing! Like years ago, it worked perfectly, so useful for tracking packages. Then month by month things got worse and worse, from not importing orders to not marking them delivered etc. Now it seems like it’s basically over? I have no shipments listed (trust me, I am ordering stuff lol), and everytime I try to refresh it doesn’t add anything, looks like it hasn’t been updated for at least a month. Pointless to get this app, I’ve never had an experience where an app started out so great and updates progressively made it WORSE. ### 5/5 — Personal Shopping Assistant *2022-03-31, version 7.9.7* One drawback to multiple online purchases is the tendency to overlook some of the undelivered packages. This app makes it easier to keep tabs on all your expected items therefore minimizing the possibility of "forgetting" about an undelivered online order. Additionally, you are alerted to how much you have been spending for online purchases because of the past purchases section (makes it easier to control your splurges). Perfect little online shopping assistant for me! ### 1/5 — What happened? *2022-03-27, version 7.9.7* I am not sure what’s happening, but used to love Slice. My app hasn’t updated since The beginning of the March. It took me 5 days of trying to log out to actually log out. Have unlinked and re-linked all my accounts 3 times and still nothing is showing up? I don’t have any price drops, or anything showing. I have been a slice member for several years, attempted to get support or help and have been ignored. So now I am changing my review to a one star…. If I could give it a negative, it would be -5 stars!!!!! ### 1/5 — No longer works for me either *2022-03-18, version 7.9.7* Like others have mentioned recently, the app is no longer working. I don’t see any purchases made over the past couple of months. Furthermore, in the past when I would reach out to customer service, somebody would reply and help me troubleshoot. Recently, I haven’t heard back despite reaching out to them several times. Looks like I’m going to have to delete the app and use something else. This is the thanks we get as consumers for helping a business make money by selling our data to them while using their apps.
