## What is Slice?

Slice is the app for tennis and padel players who want to play more — and the coaches who help them get better.

Find a coach near you, book a 1-on-1 lesson, or join a group class. Pay in the app, get a push when it's confirmed, and show up. Everything else — calendars, reminders, refunds, cancellations — is handled.

For players
• Discover coaches and classes within walking distance, by sport and level. Tennis or padel, beginner to club-level.
• Book a class in seconds. Pay by card or Apple Pay. Get a receipt.
• Track your level on a clear 0–10 scale that updates as you play.
• Log match results with friends — wins, losses, sets, scores.
• Find players near you to hit with. Search by level, club, or availability.

For coaches
• Publish 1-on-1 lessons or group classes (drop-in, weekly, fixed cohorts). Set your price, your cancellation policy, your venues.
• Run multi-day camps and one-off events — tournaments, exhibitions, socials. All payments collected automatically.
• Sell extras alongside lessons — video analysis, ball packs, restringing, anything.
• Stripe-powered payouts to your bank — no Slice account balance, no waiting on us.
• Manage students, take attendance, leave per-class feedback, and see who's coming to your next session before they arrive.

Built for clubs and players in France, the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Luxembourg, and the US.

Privacy and trust
• Stripe handles every payment. Slice never stores card numbers.
• Coaches are reviewed before they can take bookings.
• Players can block, report, or close their account at any time.

Players

• Book a full course in one go, or just the sessions you can make. Your
  coach decides which they offer, and both prices are shown upfront.

• Waitlists now work properly. When a place frees up it's offered to each
  person in turn for a limited time, with the price and the exact session
  shown before you pay. Not for you? Pass it on and it goes to the next
  player straight away.

• Can't make one session of a course? Tell your coach from the class page,
  and where possible your place is offered to the waitlist.

Coaches

• One simple flow for setting up a group class, with an optional discount
  for booking the whole run, up to 32 sessions, and an end-date shortcut.

• A reminder 15 minutes before every lesson, class and camp day, listing
  who's coming and how each person has paid.

• Your waitlist now appears in order on the roster, including who is
  holding an offer and how long they have left.

• Payment history shows how each booking was actually paid, rather than
  how the offering was set up.

Plus a batch of fixes across booking, pricing and notifications.

Camps are easier to find and join:
• Discover camps right from your home screen, and see a coach's upcoming camps on their profile.
• New filters to find the right one — sport, length, location & distance, and kids-only.
• Last-minute spots: you can now book and pay into a camp for up to 72 hours after it starts, as long as places remain.

Smarter club search:
• Filter clubs by city, sport, or those that host Slice sessions.
• Tap "Search this area" to explore clubs anywhere on the map.

For coaches:
• Duplicate a camp in one tap to set up the next one faster.
• Get a heads-up if a new camp or class clashes with something already in your schedule.

Also in this update:
• A cleaner notifications list — new messages now live in Chat instead of being mixed in.
• Shared camp, class and coach links now show the Slice logo in link previews.
• Reliability improvements and bug fixes, including more reliable shared links and camp booking confirmations.
