I was able to import music from Apple Music (+), but don’t have the ability to fade music in and out. There’s a good selection of slide transitions, but they are applied randomly. When videos are in the slideshow, it’s not possible to play music over the video sounds, or make a sound mix. It would be nice to be able to select how long each musical segment plays, and make a smooth transition. Overlays are basic, and users can’t make overlays on only a few selected slides. OK for the price, but I might move on to a more full-featured app. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your informative review! Here’s how to use them: Slide transitions and other settings can be configured at three levels: app defaults ("Default Slideshow Settings"), which apply to all new slideshows; slideshow settings, where you can choose options such as random transitions; and media settings, where you can set a specific transition, animation, filter, or other setting for an individual photo or video. To edit media settings, open a slideshow and double-click the media. There’s no option. I like how you can change the way the photo’s transition , plus the length of time, the photo is shown. Adding the photo’s was pretty time consuming I added a bunch of photos to an album (On the phone) a week before to get this ready. Then photos today to put it altogether. I had to select the week ago photos one by one, then add the ones from today. (which went well, after selecting todays photos) I liked how I could add extras after. Also I can see if I added duplicates. That was helpful. If the app could mark duplicate photos that would be awesome! I’d trade that feature for better music. Great, but there is no layout for 1 pic per slide?? I’m sorry but I don’t want my photos to be displayed 3 at a time. DEVELOPER PLEASE HELP ### 1/5 — Data Mining. You don’t need full access 🙄 *2025-01-13, version 2.6* Update 1/12/25: what a lousy system, apple, can’t reply to developer response. They won’t see probably, but: - no, can’t revert to limited access if give full access for onboarding purposes only. - sorry, trust in an app to not mine data isn’t smart. You don’t need full access, I have well-known video and editing apps. Top of their field. The only reason you say you need it makes no sense. I don’t take photos or videos on phone, and still don’t want to give you full access. Not necessary at all. - glad you’re fixing that “bug.” No reason ‘limited access” to photo album shouldn’t work. Except you want constant and complete access so nope, delete. Now I see why you were giving free. Lure people in. I so wish Apple would try to keep bad actors off the app store. There are free services doing what you claim. You can change it in the Slideshow Settings. You can also disable it by default (for all new slideshows) in the Default Slideshow Settings.
