I got there at my scheduled time. My food was on the counter (with a fly flying around it) to be put in a bag. I could understand if I didn’t open it for 10-15 minutes, but it was cold when I got in the car! Keeps giving me some error about “this location doesn’t accept credit cards” which is completely bogus because they do. I order here all the time, but if I can’t order through the app and get the better deals there, then it’s kinda like being punished if I order anyway. Their app is frustrating. It autoplays a video in the upper 1/3 of the home screen every time you open it. Doesn’t seem like big deal unless you’re listening to music and the app takes over the devices audio. Just a silly design choice. Give us the option to turn this off. I’m already in the app ready to order. It autoselected their latest available time for pickup, 9:15 pm, I placed the order at 5:45 pm and only saw the time issue once I arrived to pick up my food at 6:00 pm. ### 1/5 — UPDATE *2026-06-13, version 3.5* I don’t update my iPhone and so now I can’t use your app?!?! Says it won’t take my order and to check payment info and try again. Triple checked and multiple attempts later, no change. ### 1/5 — Refund never received *2026-08-22, version 4.0.3* Ordered meals through the app and had to have them redone multiple times because they sat and got cold while the female cashiers flirted with other customers. Finally, I asked for a refund and was told that they could not issue one since the order was placed through the app. I have reached out to CS several times with no response, and have yet to receive a refund…My sister also has the same issue. ### 1/5 — Horrible App Experience *2026-08-20, version 4.0.3* when the slim chickens first opened where I live I tried it out once but never went back as the employees were rude and it was disorganized. I saw a commercial for the 10 nugs deal and decided to try again as it’s been a couple years. Firstly- no matter what card I used the app said there was a problem submitting the order. After multiple attempts and reviewing my info for accuracy I decided to delete the account and reregister to fix the problem as there’s no obvious reason the app isn’t working. After deleting the account the app would not let me sign back up via apple so I used my email- then I was refused account creation again because my phone number is associated with my deleted account I’d had via Apple sign in. Phone is required so I’ve no way of creating an account. It’s a horrible user experience and I have never had a positive experience with slim chickens whether that was in store or in app- what a mess, very frustrating experience. Don’t waste your time with this place!! Also- the full app doesnt even fit my iphone se screen so the menu at the bottom of the app is illegible- just don’t waste your time with this business. ### 1/5 — Sucks now *2026-08-16, version 3.5* What phone do I need to use this app now? I normally don’t leave app reviews, but I’ve been a loyal customer for 12+ years. Very disappointing when I’ve emailed about my issues over a month ago and haven’t heard anything back. I have an 8+. The Slims app tells me to upgrade to the newest version of their app, but apparently that requires the newest IPhone. I am not buying a new IPhone just so I can use the Slims app. All my other food apps still work just fine.
