## What is Slim PDF?

Slim PDF makes oversized PDFs smaller in seconds, directly on your iPhone or iPad. Your PDF files are processed on-device and are never uploaded to a document-processing server.

COMPRESS FOR EMAIL AND UPLOADS
Choose Email, WhatsApp, Web Upload, or a custom target size. Slim PDF automatically works toward the limit you select.

SEE EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAVED
Compare the original and compressed sizes, preview the result, then share it or save it to Files.

BATCH COMPRESS
Compress several PDFs in one run instead of processing them individually.

MERGE AND SPLIT
Combine multiple PDFs or divide a large document into smaller files without switching apps.

PRIVATE PDF PROCESSING
PDF compression, merging, and splitting happen on your device. No account is required, and your PDF contents are not uploaded for processing.

SLIM PDF PRO
Unlock unlimited compression, all compression presets, target-size tools, batch processing, merge and split, and biometric app lock. Monthly, annual, and lifetime options are available.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-20

This update improves PDF reliability and purchase access. The daily compression limit now applies from every entry point, password protection is preserved when Smart compression falls back, and merge or split stops safely instead of saving an incomplete PDF. Subscription status refresh and privacy links are also more reliable.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-30

Slim PDF is tuned for faster first-time compression, clearer privacy messaging, and better upgrade prompts. Compress your first PDF before seeing Pro offers, then use batch tools, target-size presets, merge, split, and app lock when you need more.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-10

Meet Slim PDF. New users can now compress their first PDF before seeing an upgrade offer, and Pro prompts appear only when they are relevant. This update also improves the rating flow, clarifies privacy messaging, and includes stability improvements.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-19

Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Improved app stability and overall user experience.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-07-08

Fixed an issue where the upgrade screen could occasionally get stuck. Improved reliability when opening PDFs shared from other apps and from the Files app. Minor stability improvements.
