Ślimak Ortoptyczny to gra wzrokowa dla dzieci z zaburzeniami konwergencji. Może być stosowana u dzieci z zezem rozbieżnym, wspomaga również ćwiczenia niedowidzenia. W tym przypadku należy ćwiczyć ze szczelnie zasłoniętym okiem prowadzącym.

Instrukcja:

1) Ćwiczenia konwergencji:

Urządzenie trzymaj na wysokości oczu dziecka; płynnym i powolnym ruchem zbliżaj je do nosa obserwując jednocześnie oczy dziecka. 

Zadaniem ćwiczącego jest trafienie komara, który pojawi się na środku tarczy i zebranie jak największej liczby punktów. Uważaj na ślimaki, one zabierają punkty! 

2) Ćwiczenia przy niedowidzeniu:

Dziecko ma również za zadanie trafić komara na środku tarczy jednak tym razem ma szczelnie zasłonięte zdrowe oko i gra jedynie okiem niedowidzącym.

Osoba dorosła może trzymać urządzenie, zbliżać je i oddalać od ćwiczącego oczka. Należy pilnować, aby grający nie podglądał.
