Slim's Memorial Stone is the workshop's order book: every memorial stone you are making, what stage it has reached, and when it has to be in the ground. An order is a customer. Inside it sits one stone for each person being commemorated, tracked on its own — because a family ordering two stones is one invoice and two very different jobs. FOUR TABS, AND EVERY JOB IS IN EXACTLY ONE • In Progress — still being made • Ready to Install — engraved, picture in hand, waiting on a date • Installation Scheduled — booked, and pinned to soonest-first • Completed — fitted and finished The counts on the tabs always add up to the whole book, so nothing quietly falls between two lists. EVERY STEP, PER STONE Picture ordered, picture arrived, engraving complete, installation scheduled, installed. Progress is worked out from the ticks — per stone, then averaged across the order — so the percentage on a card is never a number somebody forgot to update. A stone with no picture is scored out of three steps instead of five, rather than stalling at 60% forever. NEVER MISS AN INSTALLATION Every booked stone gets two reminders, two days and one day before, at 9am. A banner at the top of the list counts what is due within two days, and an overdue date colours the whole order red until it is dealt with. THE DETAILS THAT MATTER ON THE DAY Size, cemetery, engraving colour picked off a wheel, notes, and a photograph of the portrait or the proof — attached to the stone it belongs to, not to a folder somewhere. PRINTABLE JOB SHEETS Build a one-page PDF for any order: the customer, every stone, its measurements, its colour and its dates. Print it or share it, and hand it to whoever is doing the cutting. ARABIC AND ENGLISH Names and notes written in Arabic lay themselves out right-to-left on their own — in the list, on the card and in the detail pane. There is no setting to go and find. ONE WORKSHOP, EVERY DEVICE iPhone, iPad and Mac, signed in to the same account, updating live. Tick a step on the phone at the cemetery and it is already ticked on the Mac back at the office. YOUR RECORDS STAY YOURS Export every order to a JSON file and a CSV file whenever you like, straight into a folder you choose. Deleted orders go to an archive you can restore from, not away. Light and dark, and a layout that follows the screen: one list on a phone, the list beside the details on iPad and Mac. ACCOUNT REQUIRED Slim's Memorial Stone is a tool for a working memorial-stone business, and accounts are issued by the workshop that runs it — there is no public sign-up.
