Thank you so much for taking the time to review. I’d really like to improve your experience with the app. Would it be possible to share some details about the issue, for example, roughly how many characters your notes contain and how many notes you currently have? I’d like to reproduce the same conditions on my end so I can pinpoint where there may be room to improve. Please feel free to reach out anytime, either through App Store reviews or by email at team@appsupport.com.tr
Moved to this from Obsidian
Response from developer
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review, this genuinely made my day! It’s wonderful to hear that the simplicity and intentional friction are working well for you. That balance is something I care deeply about. I hope the app continues to serve you the way you want and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever have suggestions or feedback as your note collection grows!
Don’t save well
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback! Auto save is already present throughout the app, when editing an existing note, it saves automatically even before you leave the view. I intentionally chose not to auto save when adding a new note, so you always have the option to discard it if you change your mind, rather than having to go back and delete an unwanted saved note. I hope this clears things up, and that you continue to enjoy SlipBox.
The Zettelkasten app with potential.
1. Implementation with apple shortcuts for quick capture.
2. Reuse labels via autofill.
3. A slightly more robust text editor (mainly for numbered or bullet list).
Response from developer
Thank you so much for your feedback. I’m really glad you’re enjoying it.
Very good app
What would make this app even greater:
- Simple text editor tools for even better notes (bold and italics for instance)
- Latex support; as I study something math-heavy, a lot of my notes are made of formulas and mathematical expressions. Support for Latex would be absolutely heavenly!
That said, I can totally understand if the developer wants to keep the app as barebones as possible to uphold the design choice and focus only on the essential elements: text and memorization.
Response from developer
Thank you so much for your kind words and detailed review. Positive feedback like yours truly makes the work worthwhile. I genuinely appreciate that you respect the app's deliberate focus on simplicity. Nevertheless, your experience matters to me and I have noted your feature suggestions and will look for a way to implement them without compromising that simplicity. Good luck with your studies!
