## What is Slovary?

Slovary is an offline dictionary. It searches on your device — no account, no sign-in, no advertising, no tracking, no analytics. After installing it works with no network connection at all.

Included: GCIDE, the GNU Collaborative International Dictionary of English (124,187 entries), based on the public-domain Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary of 1913.

Bring your own dictionaries. The app reads an open, fully documented pack format and the widely used StarDict format. Compile a dictionary yourself, host it anywhere, and load it from a link or a file. The specification and a reference converter are published at https://slovary.vip/spec/

- Tap a cross-reference inside an article to follow it; the trail is kept as a chain you can walk back
