Ich sollte ein Abo noch mehr bezahlen? Was soll das? Our specialists will be glad to assist you. ### 1/5 — Looks like a money grab *2021-07-07* I’ve had the original Slovoed Russian dictionary for several years. I originally paid 29.99 for it (pretty high for an app), but with the update to iOS 14.5, it’s no longer supported. I suppose this is the replacement for it, but now it’s moved to a subscription model, which is ridiculous. It’s a dictionary, you look up words, what’s to subscribe to? Obviously they feel the need for greed. Fix the old one please. UPDATE: Paragon replied with the same response the rest of the negative reviewers received—the old app is obsolete and we’ve got this new one you should use, it’s much better. I suppose it’s true that words fall out of fashion and become obsolete, but really? The functionality certainly wasn’t obsolete. What’s obsolete is the income generating ability of the old app. The old app was a one time purchase, the new one is a subscription, I wonder why they want us to switch? On top of that the new one has fewer features. Somehow I fail to see the draw. **Developer response:** Dear Customer, thank you for the interest in our app! Правда, на телефоне она не открывается уже около года, ну, думаю, буду на IPad смотреть. Но тут прилетело «разработчик должен обновить приложение до последней версии iOS”, тут уж ничего не поделаешь! В общем, автор когда-то деньжат срубил с нас легковерных, а теперь - хоть потоп. Unfortunately since new iOS version on my phone I can’t use my old application. Paradon client service doesn’t help or even propose any solution except: downloading new application and wait for the French-Russian dictionary to be added (no date communicated) and after this I have to buy it. Now this update cancelled that and they want a yearly subscription?? Наша команда поддержки с радостью поможет Вам. ### 1/5 — Premium version gone *2021-06-09* I used this app on a daily basis, however the previous version ( that we paid 30.00 for) is no longer supported after the latest iOS update. You get the message “the developer needs to update to work with this version of iOS”. It seems to have been replaced with this subscription based version. Gone are the conjugation tables, pronunciation, everything that made it useful. I will not waste my time on this version. Full availability offline, it was great! Now suddenly pricing models changed, fair enough. But existing customers were rug-pulled 100%, their products stolen! I don't have access AT ALL to my dictionaries anymore from one day to the other without prior notice or options. I contacted their support about the issue, no response whatsoever. If you wanna trust such a company, I wish you good luck. To all the others, be warned, look elsewhere! ### 1/5 — Slovoed *2023-08-08* Сильное разочарование. Не работает много разделов. Купил версию Deluxe - исчезло произношение, транскрипция стала очень странная, первый раз такое вижу - ужас! ### 1/5 — Разочарование… *2022-10-01* Когда-то была прекрасная программа. Сейчас вынужден поставить неудовлетворительную оценку. Каждый раз включая программу на IPhone программа требует оформить покупку которую я сделал несколько лет назад. Я вынужденно снова оформляю покупку и на следующий день-два программа снова требует оформить покупку и я покупаю снова. Волейбол покупки продолжается много раз. Почти каждый день я покупаю снова и снова . Судя по комментариям я испугалась было, что всё из-за новшеств, внедряемых производителем, но нет - удалила и установила словари заново из Покупок и всё заработало отлично, как и прежде. Сейчас появился новый телефон, старого приложения не нашёл, есть только это. Нажимаю «Восстановить покупки» — реакции никакой? О старых купленных словарях можно забыть и нужно оформлять подписку? ### 3/5 — Old version stopped working *2021-07-07* Can’t use previous versions (which included pronunciations and conjugations) of PT-EN, PT-IT and PT-ES. Used them a lot, but now Paragon is saying (without any previous warning) that I have to license the new app. This is ridiculous, a decision to grab easy money… the downside for them is there are multiple (and even free) other options in the store. Either fix the apps or tell me bye forever! Update on 7/7/21: new “Apple-signed” versions have been launched, and all 3 dictionaries are back to work, despite the warnings they would probably never be updated again. Ok, will keep using them. I’m not thrilled with the annual pricing, and I’m not sure it’s good value for money. The interface is smoother now, but the word pronunciations are gone. An unfortunate loss. When you need a product, you get a service instead.
