## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It don‘t work

*2021-05-05, version 1.03*

I use Garageband. And every time i play from the begining the effect turn off. I think it work like Cableguys Halftime or Grossbeat from Fl Studio.

### 2/5 — I like it BUT

*2020-10-30*

It’s not recording the effect when I render out or mixdown the effect is not on the track. In Cubasis Auria & Beatmaker 3 . Why is this happening? I’ll upgrade my ratings once this is rectified

**Developer response:** I've just performed a little test in Cubasis 3 using automation on the Start/Stop button and it was rendered into the mixdown correctly. Are you using Cubasis 3 and if so are you using parameter automation?

### 3/5 — Needs static “on” “start”

*2021-03-14*

I think me and a lot of others expected this to behave like Cable Guys Halftime. It’d be awesome if you could have a button to lock the ”on” “start” state..

I love all your apps but that one problem makes this one unusable. Check out Cable Guys Halftime pleaseee...

Will change to 5 stars as soon as that’s implemented 🙂

### 4/5 — Halftime

*2020-12-26*

Can we keep halftime on at all times in the next update? So I can just leave audio at half speed playback instead of having to record my slowed down audio into other apps. I get the idea but that would be a nice add on for the few users like myself that just needs a good app the resembles halftime by cable guys on the pc.

### 4/5 — Dope Fx

*2020-11-14*

The Fx would have gotten 5 stars if i didn’t have to set an automation on the power button to get it to work.

**Developer response:** There is no power button on this effect, just a start/stop button. Most DAW's stop audio flow when the transport is not running which is why the plugin enters stop state when the transport halts. We can't play historical audio at half speed if we don't have it.

### 4/5 — Real Downtempo Vibes

*2020-11-13, version 1.03*

The plugin sounds great and has a lot of extra effects to further affect the color and texture of the sound. Unfortunately, like with all 4Pockets apps, knobs movements are choppy. Despite my moving my finger in a linear matter, the knobs sometimes jump 20-50% of their range. I did not really encounter this in any other apps, plug-ins.
Also in my setup (NanoStudio 2 on iPad mini) the horizontal windows of the plugin is very much squeezed in NanoStudio’s plugin tab. To be able to move any of the knobs, it is necessary to expand it (one extra click every time when accessing plugin controls). The most optimal would be if the plugins window could resize itself to more or less square format (if it’s possible from developers side). But making the knobs behave more predictably would be overall much more welcome improvement.

Thanks in advance.

### 5/5 — Thank you bro

Needed this 1. Real ones appreciate you bringing the halftime sauce to iOS.

Update: is it possible to make it where the host doesn’t have to be already playing for this auv3 to power on. I want it to be ready to go before I press play in the host app.

### 5/5 — Quick and easy to go slow

*2020-10-27, version 1.02*

Fantastic effects app. So many possibilities for all genres of music. Well, what are you waiting for. Don’t be slow, get it and GO!

### 5/5 — Update:

*2020-10-24*

No regrets I’ve been holding on some of the other apps but this one was a lot of fun. Great job

Possible to reduce clicking and pops when changing speed?

**Developer response:** The problem is the effect needs to resync to the next beat when changing speed as it the record buffer will be out-of-sync but I will look into ways to minimize this. Ideally the speed should be set prior to engaging the effect.

### 5/5 — Something different

*2020-10-23, version 1.0*

4Pockets have an uncanny knack for spotting a gap in the market, and filling that gap with something different. But difference would be no good if it did not also provide capable functionality. Happily, this is another winner, doing strange and sometimes wonderful things to rhythms.
