So much fun. ### 5/5 — Changing my game *2024-02-01* Absolutely recommend! ### 5/5 — It’s really not THAT hard to setup, people *2023-02-21, version 1.1.0* I read so many scathing reviews on the setup of this product, and I had such an opposite experience setting it up that I felt compelled to give my own review in favor of SLX. The hardest part is the registration on both SLX and E6. The next hardest decision was whether I wanted to bind the license to my iPhone or to my Gaming PC because E6 will only allow one device. Connecting via Bluetooth to my phone once I had decided on my iPhone being the device to bind to was instantaneous and has been a fairly consistent/strong connection throughout. I then airplay to my TV and was on my way to the driving range within 15 minutes. The subscription cost after six months is a little disappointing, but that’s no different than any other golfing simulator or launch monitor that chooses to use E6 or GSPro (GSPro is $250 a year, I believe). I’m hopeful that the SLX Connect app will improve over time and will be a competent sim experience, but if not I don’t really mind spending $100 a year to get a bunch of courses on E6 either. The distances versus my clubhead speed are a little extreme. Admittedly, I don’t hit a seven iron 190-200 yards as much as I would love to say I do. But when I try to hit a draw or a fade with the club face open or closed, it was fairly accurate and I was surprised at the fidelity for $200. == SUMMARY == In short, this is actually quite a bit of fun. Couldn’t have said it better myself. When l came across issues installing/pairing with my limited tech ability, I was able to connect with someone immediately and they made the setup extremely easy. Upon hanging up the phone, I was on the golf course within minutes. Great product and company. ### 5/5 — Solid App for Device *2023-01-04, version 1.0.6* I've been using the SLX MicroSim for about 3 months with E6 Connect. The device/software combination works great! Now that SwingLogic has their own app, it's even better! App work great even in its beta state. The battery life for the iPad is also better than with E6. Yes, there have been a few areas where SwingLogic have admittedly missed the mark…and some things out of their control…but for a small, USA based startup, growing pains happen…and apparently us customers can be brutal through the lens of impatience. These guys are on to something, and clearly know what their doing and are also willing to grow in the process of challenges. App is buggy and works poorly at best ### 1/5 — Love the concept, but brutal for lefties *2023-05-13, version 1.1.0* Bought the sim a week or two ago, and it works great for my right handed roommates. But as a lefty, this thing is horribly inaccurate. No matter what I do, I could swing backwards out of my prison purse, it will still tell me the face is closed and I’m hitting a hook. Traditionally my biggest misses are slices in the opposite direction when I have a bad swing. I love the concept and ease of use, but the sensor for LH golfers isn’t there yet. ### 1/5 — Terrible customer service *2022-12-29, version 1.0.6* I originally wanted to use my PC for the application but after reading the instructions I wasn’t sure if I had correct graphics card. So I wanted to switch to phone IOS and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. I contacted customer service and it goes to a voicemail and then it text me a chat bot. I get a email from customer service telling me where to look and that page doesn’t exist. At the end of the email it tells you to help yourself. I’m done trying. Terrible customer service. And I’m talking about SLX. E6 software tried to help but I need a new key first. Reading other reviews also I was getting same error message about login that I already have a account and it wouldn’t let me log in. Horrible no one will help except a email saying help yourself ### 1/5 — App is unusable *2022-12-25, version 1.0.6* I received the Slx micro sim for Christmas and can’t even get the app to login. 1) I signed up for an account, (which on iOS is very hard to do, lots of overlapping UI, and invisible months and years for DOB selection,) and it told me after accepting all agreements, “unexpected error. Email already in use.” Interesting as this is the first time logging in. 2) I tried to login again at the main screen, and it says “the password was entered incorrectly.” It isn’t incorrect. 3) I try to change password, it says “error occurred during processing” 4) I try everything again with a new email, starting at step 1, and it follows the same path. I cannot use this app, and because the app determines the handed-ness of the sensor, I cannot use the sim with the E6 app, either. I have “left” selected for the E6 app, but it only reads right-handed swings. ### 1/5 — Complicated *2022-12-25, version 1.0.6* Try to sign up, then it gives me an error when I get to user agreements, then when I try to push “agree to all” again it says the email address is already in use. Takes forever to load and set up is nightmare. ### 2/5 — Worked great… the first time *2024-08-15, version 1.2.3* Had a great range session the first time out. Got a lot of great data. Went out a week later for my normal range session and I couldn’t log in to my account but only as a guest(which doesn’t store your shot history). Now it says it can’t scan my device. Great concept, but if I only got one session with it, I’m going to be highly disappointed. ### 2/5 — Great a year ago, can’t connect now and customer service is lacking *2024-03-09, version 1.1.9* I bought this product a year ago, it worked as it should. Lately, I can’t connect the device to either my computer or my phone. I submitted a ticket to Customer Service and it took a while to here from them only to suggest ideas I’ve already tried. There have been a few times that I’m needed to reach out to their customer service department for various things and each time they’ve been so incredibly helpful! Thank you! ### 5/5 — Great customer support! *2024-09-03, version 1.2.3* I bought Version 1.0 of the MicroSim and had a heckuva time trying to figure it out and get it to connect to the E6 Portal. I returned it and then purchased the newer version 2.0. Again, I had an issue trying to sync it with the E6 portal because I had a previous license key with the previous version. I reached out and customer support sent me a link for a new key to get me up and running. Love the app and features and the E6 license is great. Makes hitting at home easy and fun. Can’t wait to use it on the course for GPS distance. Highly recommend! ### 5/5 — Excellent Sim for a Low Price *2024-02-17, version 1.1.8* Purchased the Basic Pack which includes the MicroSim version 1.0 and Additional Clips for real clubs for $99.99. Can’t say how impressed I am with the simulator at such a low price. My club head speeds and ball speeds are right in line with any other professional simulator out there. It takes a bit to get set up and get everything calibrated, but for $100 it is an absolutely amazing product. Switching the sim from one club to the other really only takes a couple seconds. I purchased some foam balls and a mat to make it more accurate as I play from my living room with limited space and a 9 foot ceiling. The sim comes with 5 courses and I purchased an additional course 40 courses from E6 for $10/mo.
