Not sure who to believe, however, 1 things for sure. Unlike other texting and calling apps, this one’s only paid. There is no free version. Their main competitor who also offer data and mobile services, offer free texting and calling options. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Great app with bugs *2026-08-10* Great app but with some bugs and limitations … For exemple the app doesn’t alert you about a missed call, you need to open all the time the app to check. The app also show “yesterday” for any missed call or message received “today” but will show the right day for voicemail. Besides the bugs, for call, text or data, all the Caribbean plus some country like Portugal where Slynumber won’t be available. No good. ### 1/5 — Do not use *2026-06-15, version 3.3.4* This app is not good for verified number to use with social media accounts. Burner app is much better. I asked her to escalate a technical glitch in their payment system several times and she just says “sorry there’s nothing we can do”. Yes there is! This is a simple technical glitch in your payment system!!!
